  1. Yep. He will get 20 minutes at most in the second leg if we need a goal and maybe a handful of minutes on Sunday.

Bit hard to keep things light when your marriage is questioned and it's intimated that you're a racist. I'm not going to take a serious accusation like that lying down. Regarding your first point, I wouldn't get abstinance tips from a sex addict and I wouldn't take marriage advice from someone who couldn't make their marriage work. At the very least I wouldn't accept the suggestion that a divorcee is better at making a marriage work given that they've already failed at it.
  3. Another like this is when people say "and then I turned round and said" when there was no turning round at all so the phrase is redundant.

The thing is soggy if you're going to inaccurately quote something I've said a number of years ago out of context and then suggest that due to what you uncharitably interpret my words to mean that your marriage is somehow more successful than my own, it's pertinent to bring up the fact that your first marriage ended in collapse with alleged abuse whilst I'm on my original marriage of many years which is rock solid. I would suggest that a divorcee isn't really in a position to lecture anyone about how to make a marriage work given your self-admitted history of failure.
  5. If we signed Downes I'd be delighted but I expect he will have some prem offers in the lower half of the table.
  6. I mentioned Fraser, I can't see us signing Downes, certainly not THB and Rothwell has been crap. We could do a deal for Brookes but I'm underwhelmed by his performances on the whole. Like I said, I was working on the basis that what Saint Cam said was true and we were skint. Given that scenario, my point was we can still put out a half decent team. If we have more funds then we definitely need a Downes replacement and a replacement if Aribo leaves and possibly another striker option.
  7. Not sure I agree with you there. Presumably gk will be an upgrade If we get a THB replacement in and possibly a new rb that defence isn't hugely different from now Agree we need a Downes replacement but Charles will have had another year of growth and will hopefully have some improvements. Smallbone and Armstrong have been consistently in the team all year. Amo Ameyew was unlucky imo to not get more games this year and should be another year older so no reason he can't be successful and you'd have Fraser there as well hopefully and then if we are going with 11 rather than 12 you'd have Stewart up top who may be an upgrade on Adams for all we know. I also forgot about Edozie who would probably play too. No doubt we will get in a couple of attacking loans in or a canny winger signing to replace the ones who leave but I don't see what's so horrendous about that team. I think with a couple of additions that could make the playoffs again.
  8. Good spot! My guess is we will be aiming for playoffs next year. I definitely want some of the young players to have more of an opportunity next year if we stay down. We definitely need a few more, I was working more on the basis like some have claimed that we are skint and even if that's true, we'd be able to put out a team of half decent players.
  9. That's how I see it. New gk Bree Stephens new cb Manning Charles Smallbone Armstrong Dibling Amo-Ameyaw Ballard Stewart Maybe bring in Fraser on reduced wages, loan in a decent dm again, an Am and a winger and a Mara replacement. Sell lose or loan off the wage bill McCarthy Onuachu Caleta Carr Bella Kotchap Lyanco Perraud Sulemana Adams Kwp Bednarek Aribo Mara That should reduce things significantly.

Didn't he bring up his wife? If what I said was true then it doesn't seem like his previous marriage is anything to particularly crow about given how it ended.

And yet I wonder if we would be in the position we are now if what I outlined had happened before the end of last year? I am certain that wouldn't be the case. Release the hostages and surrender. You claim it's not that simple and yet it still hasn't happened over half a year later.

"last chance" to free Israeli hostages. What do you think will happen if that last chance expires? It's been simple really. Free the hostages, Hamas surrenders and let's see how long the war continues for. You can guarantee in that scenario that Israel won't be enjoying the support of anyone in the international community if it continues after that. They could have done this at any point since October but they won't will they. Wonder why?

This Israeli lot are so unreasonable wanting their hostages back. I'm glad that Hamas are so reasonable and so keen to end this that they aren't using the hostages they took as political bargaining chips. Oh wait...
