  1. Think we’d create much more if we had a striker we could confidently play into personally. Never replaced Adams qualities, especially when we missed out on Delap.
  2. Whereas your posting history on here has proven yourself to be a fascinating person with a real sense of knowledge when it comes to football.
  3. This is exactly what I wanted to discuss when I made this post btw.
  4. manager who did well wouldn’t be as liked if he didn’t do well isn’t the zinger you think it is. Clever clogs. Just for full clarity, I do not think RM should be or will be manager next season if we get relegated 👍 I do think this season is still up for grabs though and I do also think RM might be the best man for the job on that front but we are in desperate need of someone who can score goals at this level and I don’t think that changes if we get a new manager.
  5. Keep posting the same thing mate. Definitely proving yourself not to be angry.
  6. Yeah, see, this seems to be a regular thing, just focusing on the now. Which is fine because it’s obviously the most important part but there was a pretty massive rebuilding job to be done last year both on and off the field and the manager was a part of that which does seem to be forgotten or dismissed as ‘lucky’.
  7. I’m not sure because despite popular belief I don’t work there but all the players do seem to be behind him don’t you think? I get that people think it’s a PR drive etc but players don’t need to be so effusive about the manager or the work they do, it’s not exactly cliche praise in the media from THB this week is it? We also don’t hear bad vibes from the club like we have in previous years. Last time we were getting related the club captain was actively talking about wanting European football before the end of the season, players were leaving on loan because of fall outs with the managers. There’s no real evidence of that now (ABK aside). Maybe I’m wrong and when he goes we’ll hear how terrible it was.
  8. I don’t think you need PR training or to be ‘Sibs’ to know that you probably shouldn’t be using the word mong pal. Just a normal human being should do it.
  9. Mong ffs. Really good stuff.
  10. Talking of things that are definite would you like me to drag up the posts from you stating we definitely wouldn’t get promoted last season again? You’re not exactly the greatest of minds fella.
  11. 😂 Other than working for the club or post on here for a reaction is it not just possible that I think the guy has done a good job and that sacking him might be a bit short sighted and not be the immediate answer to bad results?
  12. I post on here because I’m paid too and I’m Lucy Pinder, I think.
  13. Aww, well done you. Getting angry on a message board on the internet is definitely the best way to show that.
  14. You guys get angry way too easily. That’s a problem.
  15. Interesting debate whether the club should be run to appease fans or whether the day to day people at the club should be appeased. Think there’s no doubt sacking Martin now would appease fans and make vibes in the stands better but by all accounts the people at the club and training ground quite clearly like the man and his work.
  16. RM right about the long balls btw, whether you like it or not. It happened Wednesday too. Cheering giving the ball away whether it’s short or long is strange. Anyway, new manager, new vibes, bring it on.
  17. I know you all hate the bloke and that won’t stop but if you’re at the stage of life where someone saying they want to win a game of football is a load of bollocks then you might need to look inwards.
  18. Shall we have a look at that quote in full context so at least when people get angry about it, they do it knowing the point he was making. Does their run of one win in nine matches represent an opportunity? RM: I think every game is an opportunity. Every game is one we have to try and win because of the position we're in. We're not here to try and grind results out or try and grab a draw away from home because it's not enough for us. We need to try and win games and quickly. Every game presents opportunity, however that looks. It's an opportunity for us to win a game of football and put in a performance that we are happy with.
  19. This is actually a sensible point, well done but there doesn’t really appear to be revolt against the manager from the players which suggests they are on board with things and just think they need to do it better. Anyway, I’m done now. This is all pointless, like Saints.
  20. Okay, at no point have I denied the sheer number of mistakes being made.
  21. Yeah he was playing to the crowd and launching it long when it wasn’t needed, and guess what..it involved giving the ball away and if Felix could shoot it would have led to a goal.
  22. At no point have I denied that there are mistakes being made ffs 😂
  23. ‘Hi Joe, yeh I know you struggled a bit with 5 yard passes on Wednesday but the good news is we’ve got a new tactic. All it involves is you pinging it the length of the pitch into space for our 2 strikers to run on to against their 3 or 4 defenders and don’t mess it up because it’ll just come straight back otherwise’
  24. I think my point is this would just create a different problem.
  25. I dont think using the ball as a hot potato in defence and getting it up to the two smallest strikers in the league (probably) as quickly and as often as possible will stand us in a good stead personally that’s all. I do think any success we have will involve feeding Fernandes and Dibling in areas where they can turn their man and attack space and think we should get better at that.
