  1. Mate, there’s absolutely no evidence in recent history that an England team would rip through anyone under anyone. There’s barely an international team ripping through anyone let alone England doing it. There’s also no evidence this squad of Saints players could rip through anyone. In fact, all the evidence suggest this group has consistently lost games of football until this season and all the evidence suggests that England squads have failed to go very far in tournaments until Southgate got in charge. But hey, you keep believing in your simple world with simple cliches because it seems much better that way.
  2. There’s absolutely no evidence for anything you’re saying, but yeh, good debating.
  3. You’re just saying cliche things like ‘attack and play with pace’ like it’s a button to press and that’s it done. There’s not much of a debate to be had. Btw England have been more successful under Southgate than Brazil have been recently, but sure, attack with pace, it’s so simple.
  4. League table at this stage is all posturing. Worry about it later. I’d include Ipswich in that too.
  5. Are you lot not bored of new managers yet? What about the last 3 new ones excite you so much that you want another one? Maybe let onr play out for a bit and come back to this next year. Have some chill time from stressing out about managers ffs
  6. All out attack! England! Ra ra ra! How I wish I was such a simpleton that I could say such bollocks and genuinely believe it. ‘should be going all out attack’ ffs 😂 like it’s a computer game.
  7. None of them are good enough as a lone striker. Also think the wingers just flatter to deceive as well. Stewart will help but we really lack anybody in the squad who has a record of delivering match defining moments. Tough to find to be fair but Adams and Armstrong have especially have failed to deliver for a few years now. Said all summer they weren’t good enough but was consistently told we couldn’t dare thinking about selling Adams. He’s inconsistent, always has been, always will be.
  8. It’s not even out of October yet. If they are still there at the end of Feb and the manager hasn’t jumped ship to the league above then we can start assuming they are up.
  9. We don’t have any attackers who have consistently scored or created goals for us in the squad. I think that’s a much bigger problem than the manager. But yeh, let’s change to another one with the same garbage up front.
  10. Yeah, that I’ll agree with.
  11. You said we look like one of the easiest teams to beat and your citing two games we didn’t get beat in now. We looked quite easy to beat against Sunderland and Leicester. I’m not sure Boro and Ipswich found it particularly easy but fine, even if I give you that, I’m not sure it’s fair on any level to say we’re one of the easiest teams to beat.
  12. It's not that weird, it happens quite a lot if the linesman at the other end (well half way line at that stage), but same side, thinks it's close from his point of view.
  13. I’m hoping Stewart will give us a presence and target in the box so things don’t have to be so precise. Great movement in the box by Edozie and Adams for Frasers goal yesterday by the way.
  14. Unbeaten in 4 but oh so easy.
  15. Are you arguing Martin hasn’t had a visible effect on us? Because I see a completely different team to previous years.
  16. Even if we go up I’d be surprised if KWP and Alcaraz stay fwiw.
  17. I’ve been at those forums where people have spoke and asked questions politely ‘off the cuff’ and been answered. It’s organised to bring structure but if you really have something to say it can be said.
  18. This is what makes me laugh the most. This guy for example wanted more challenging questions asked but obviously was too in awe to ask them himself.
  19. Are we really only praising comfortable wins now then? 😂 Wins wiped from history now. Also, Sheffield United also went up in this league last year. They lost 11. It’s funny that Burnley are held up as the barometer for success in this league when they had an exceptional season that even they probably couldn’t reach again. It’s a long season, a tight one, the teams the finish well are the teams that get success in this league. Let it play out a bit. I’ve no idea what the magic number we can make conclusions is, but it’s not 11.
  20. I think my point that anyone who states ‘best players, best positions’ as a legit tactic shouldn’t be taken seriously dealt with the rest of your post.
  21. I think by time they mean not 11 games. They’ve all stated they want promotion as quickly as possible. Not sure anyone doubts that not being promoted would be disappointing but the season is long.
  22. Ah yes, the age old don’t ever play inverted full backs after a bad result fable.
  23. You’re really asking me if other clubs play inverted full backs, other clubs set up at corners like we do and other clubs play a high press and get it wrong sometimes? I don’t think the answers to those are hard to find, but that might be because I have an agenda you’re right.
  24. If you honestly think we’re doing something that no other team has done before because you’ve seen us try and keep the ball a bit then your probably not best placed to provide a ‘best players, best positions, not some fairy tippy tap bollox’ solution.
