  1. Same amount of assists as KWP with considerably less minutes fwiw. 2 fewer goals. His defending isn't much different if you're wondering about those stats as well.
  2. Alfie seems to have forgot his own massive "at the moment" caveat that he himself put out there originally. Tend to think Erwin is right in his post above. He's obviously been sounded out and it's down to whether United decide to make an official approach or not.
  3. Really don’t think anyone should be taking quotes directed at a particular audience and translated through 3 different languages seriously
  4. The guy with two assists?

Was excellent where I was tbf.
  6. Not sure this is fair to be honest. Bayern having a good season points wise and Kane is scoring for fun, Leverkusen are just flying. Suspect they'll regress as well at some stage.
  7. Man who manager doesn’t fully trust gets opportunity to go to huge club and takes it. Fair play and good luck to him.
  8. Got a big name check today so confirmed he's still around.
  9. Reliable stream available on Bet365 I believe btw.
  10. Opinions like this make me laugh. Living in some weird reality that losing a specific game won't affect them but completely forgetting that if we lose this game today, that'll be 90 minutes of watching us lose. 90 minutes of watching us mis place passes, concede a goal or two or three, miss chances, bad tactics, bad substitutions, bad performances and all these things will contribute to a good vibe being lost. You won't be okay with it, you'll have issues with the quality of our squad, strikers, defence or whatever else contributes to the defeat. I'll happily eat my words if we lose today, keeper and defence makes mistakes playing out from the back, our strikers miss a hatful of chances and rotated midfield goes missing and you come on here and say it's all fine and there's no cause for concern.
  11. Watched the Matt Gill press conference and he name checks a few of the coaching team but not Carl and then wondered if I had seen him recently and couldn’t recall.
  12. Not sure if this is the thread really but is Carl Martin still on the coaching staff does anyone know?
  13. Smallbone.
  14. Yep, totally agree. No fault of any of the new management team or the young players, just an awkward set back/consequence of an unsettled season and desire for quick promotion. Would also point out that due to the lack of quality in the academy currently over 18/19 that Doyle seems to be the only small collateral damage it’s really setback.
  15. Brighton are giving younger players than we are more chances at a higher level. Fact.
  16. Dibling, Sam Amo-Ayew and Meghoma are getting sub appearances when 4-1 up and 1 cup game so far. Which might be fine for them but I believe they are a year younger than Kamari. I think the injury came at an awful time for him because he may well have put a case forward to be more involved, but his contract is up in 6 months and he needed to make a decision. Not least because I imagine Saints wanted more than the nominal fee they would get in the summer. I can’t imagine he was at all tempted to commit to a club for a few more years he’s yet to get a chance at, especially when a more suitable club is offering him one.
  17. I hate to break it to all of you but Brighton have proven they have a clear pathway for younger players getting game time more than we do, if they deem them good enough. They currently have 18 and 19 year old academy products playing regularly for them. There's literally no evidence for us doing that and based on the fact that he's been wanting to see that since last season, I suspect when it comes to decision time as to whether to stay or go, it was quite an easy decision. Like I said previously, the timing of the injury is clearly bad timing for both parties, but this kid has been wanting evidence for more than just this season, and on the basis that we spent last season telling our own youngsters to wait whilst signing other clubs, changing plans 3 times throughout the season and still failing to deliver results or game time, he's probably deemed he's not seen it. Just an incredible attitude to have for a kid daring to show some ambition and confidence in himself. The kid fancies having a crack at mens football and his contract is running out. We want a fee and he wants clarity, it's the best time for a decision to be made and as I've stated above, he's gone to a club he knows he'll get a chance at if he proves himself.
  18. He was miffed last season so the injury has got in the way of a resolution. Just unfortunate timing rather than anything being off. And there is plenty of evidence at Brighton you’ll get a chance if you’re good enough so criticising the lads choice to go there is odd. Less than 6 months on his contract, we want a fee and he wants to settle down with a pathway. Works for everyone.
  19. Yeah I called this a little while ago. Seemed inevitable and probably one that all sides couldn’t do much about. Victim of bad season last year when he wanted 1st team football (Same with JJM) and then the injury costing him when he was probably convinced to stay in the summer. Surprised it’s Brighton but don’t see how anyone can criticise him or the club here. Seemed like the club convinced him in the summer he’ll have an opportunity, the injury came and team is settled so unable to cater for young players who want a proper chance now (would suggest Dibling/Amo-Ayew etc are slightly younger and have more time on their hands).
  20. I'm intrigued to hear your thoughts on Joachim Kayi Sanda please. How good can he be and if it's positive could he end up here?
  21. There are males on Soccer Saturday who have made a career out of this gimmick. Good luck to her.
  22. Suspect he starts alongside Stephens like he did in the previous round tbh. Not Stephen's biggest fan but don't see the issue with his sub today. We were comfortable at that time, defender is on a yellow, another defender on the bench who needs game time, makes sense. Just so happened he played badly, that happens, keeper stepped up and we got through it. No issues.
  23. I think he's excellent and looking forward to hopefully seeing him test himself next year in the PL and I also agree he played well today. But he did quite literally give the ball away more than most today.
  24. Not sure how he got that to be fair. Gave the ball away more than most.
  25. ignore
