It's been far from a farce tbf and at no point have the club encouraged anyone to bend the rules.

The side picked for Thursdays game was good enough to win it. That's all you can ask for from a manager. Up to the players to go win it, they didn't. The only missed opportunity is from the players who didn't step up when given a chance against as you say, a side they should have.
-
If the Europa game was a must win game then fine but it wasn't, we got a point, we'll smash them at home and we've rested some players. By the way the only player that would make a difference was Austin and he's ****ed after 45 minutes let alone 2 games in a week with some travelling. Calm down and let the manager and sport scientists who are paid big money and have much more fitness information available to them than you and your thoughts make the decisions.

What is this rift between Redmond and Tadic the announcers mentioned?

I'd be more worried about VVD and Fonte being at each others throats throughout most games. -

They meant the fact that Redmond was annoyed the pass wasn't played earlier. The rift was on the field, nothing else. Nothing weird about Puel and Tadic at the substitution easier, just a chat between player and manager. -
Would actually love Hesketh to be involved tomorrow night. I think he's the stand out class in the u21 side above Reed et al.

I wont lie, it's just come to me that I went to MK Dons last season. Sorry guys haha.

Cant be bothered to find it but just to let the guy know who was talking about wanting an Inter ticket with only Arsenal away in the league cup 2 years ago on his record...I have exactly the same record and got a ticket officially at 10.15 this morning. So I hope you gave it a bash out of chance today like I did.

Classic Fitzhugh Fella. Overreacting, not actually waiting until he hears the full story and blaming both the management and foreign flair player. Clearly Austin at fault, could even see that as it was happening everyone knows Tadic is the penalty taker.
-
Interesting. How do I go about contacting them regarding this then?
-
Inter were not selling hospitality at this moment anyway so certainly haven't stopped temporarily.

The chance for youngsters and squad players is next week against Palace. Right now we need to win this game if we are to qualify from this group and more importantly I dont want us ****ing about with squad players when confidence is fragile and we need a win to kick start our season.

Fonte turned away from the ball, found himself the facing the wrong side panicked grabbed hold of Giroud and started dangling his feet around as Giroud out muscles him. You cant grab shirts, you cant desperately dangle your leg out and not get the ball and you cant trip someone up after the ball has gone. He panicked and was reckless.
-
Really? Have a think how you'd feel if this wasn't given a penalty at the other end..
-
I'm not reading through 5 pages of meltdown talk but having seen the penalty incident clearly now I assume everyone agrees it's ridiculous from Fonte and a penalty yes?

The Secret Footballer claims saints academy is critisised inside football
Fabrice29 replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
As Steve Grant says 9 pages of context is needed before anyone can make a true judgement on the comments. However the phrase "going after" suggests we are deciding at the ages of 8/9 when the club brings these players into the club that we are able to not just spot a technically gifted player, but being able to judge their game and what role they play in a team. At such a young age that seems pretty ridiculous to me. -
Does he though? Do people think it's actually going to get to season ticket holders with no away games?
-
They defintely check ID. Including the home end. I've heard that from two sources now. One guy on another message board who sat in the home end at the San Siro last season and a friend I have in Milan. No idea if this means we will be turned away from the home end even if we buy the tickets with the correct name and ID though.

A "Commerical Director" has emailed fans apparently saying there is no neutral areas in the San Siro and passports will be checked upon entry.

Europa League - Internazionale travel/accommodation thread
Fabrice29 replied to stevegrant's topic in Saints Away Supporters
How likely/easy is that? I remember going to the San Siro years ago for Inter v Cagliari and getting a ticket was very easy but when throwing in the equation of an English team and English fans, will getting a ticket on the day still be OK? -
Can you name the 12-15 teams better than us please? I struggle to name 10 personally.
-
Well we don't actually know if we would have been stronger had we held on to the 3 departees. That's what the rest of the season is for. Also doesn't taken into the account if we kept all 3 they'd have been seriously ****ed off. The recruitment team seem happy and they've earnt my trust, so that's good enough for me. We'll see how it goes. Everyone knows finishing 6th is going to be difficult. It was last season and argubaly the end of last season papered over some cracks that were threw up over Xmas. We'll see what happens, I'm excited. Hoijberg looks good, better than Vic, Pelle wasn't in the side at the end of last season isn't a massive loss, and Boufal cost us double what Mane did so the recruitment team must see something in him and he comes highly regarded. As for the squad and extra games...I think people should trust in Puel and why he's been bought in. Remember his experience is good with young players. I can see some of them getting used and they already look closer to the first team than they ever did under Koeman. I'm excited by that.

Journalist on twitter saying Haller deal seems unlikey now. Also I really dont get the Berahino hype. Decent player but when people say "our type of signing" I'm interested to know what they mean. He's a bit of a ****, hence why he's been punched at both WBA and Brentford by team mates and his record isn't great, 1 goal in 29 or something? Fair enough most of them are sub appearances and in a Tony Pulis side but other than a good few months the season prior and loan spells is he really all that? A lot of hype and fair enough if we signed him but there is quite a lot of question marks over him and he's not a stand out talent. Feel a bit sorry for him, he's been used in a Chairman v Manager battle at WBA but meh..there's a reason why only Stoke have really shown an interest in him at the price WBA want. He'll get cheaper next year and I'd like to see him stand up and be counted in the mean time before I consider him someone I think we should be showing a keen interest in.

Imagine the meltdown on here if we signed a Championship player for a fee close to our record signing. Probably would have been over that for an English club too. The fee is madness and that's without the media hype there would have been if Prem clubs were interested...which presumably they weren't for a reason.
