This is exactly correct. As much as I'm annoyed it's to bloody Liverpool at least the board got an amazing deal. Would like to think that we will bring a replacement in.

Agree. Get behind our players instead of getting on some of their backs. Pep even went up to Redmond at the end of the game to say how good he can be and he knows a thing or two! It's just down to a lack of confidence in some aspects. I expect him to return to the bench on sunday. He did put some good corners in tonight though.

Creditable source? I for one hope the board act swiftly because the manager is out of his depth no question. I hate to see managers axed and was all for giving MP a fair crack of the whip. However the following reasons have now made my mind up - he has to go: * reluctance to play 2 upfront. Has been painfully obvious for weeks that we needed to get more support up to Gabbi/Long/Austin but that hasn't happened. Gabbi is a class player we all know that and will score goals but he needs the service!!! Why was Austin not given a chance yesterday after scoring a Hat trick behind closed doors - absoultey baffling. * One thing Puel did was give youth a chance. He did that very Well, not under this manager. Jack Stephens had been playing quality at the start of this season and then all of sudden dropped completely from the squad. Feel sorry for him. McQueen weren't on the bench yesterday despite being a regular this season in the squad. Prowsey only getting 5 or so minutes here and there. And he's our best set piece deliverer. * were promised high pressing and exciting brand of football when MP was appointed. Hardly seen any evidence of that so far this season. Has been dull to watch a lot of the time. * Inability to change formation when it is clear that we should be going with 3 centre backs and two up the front. He said after the Wolves Cup game that He would use this formation more but we haven't seen that once! There's a lot of things at the moment that need to be sorted but it would be nice if we had a message of some kind from the board. What their intentions are, hopefully we will hear from Mr Gao again very soon. Massive game next Sunday and we need 3 points!! COYR

I seriously hope the board use this up and coming 2 week to make a decision on whether to stick or twist. I personally have not seen much improvement at all from last season. Negative tactics, late substitutions, several players low on confidence. Something is drastically wrong. I want Pellegrino to succeed but at the moment we are defiantley worse than last season under Puel. And I thought Puel did a very good job with the tools he was given. I can sense some players are not happy in the way we are being set up to play so something has to give. Whether this be a change in formation, tactics or the manager.

I agree with this line up as in a 3-4-1-2 formation.

No, I'm trying to look at the positives. There are two other things that I missed, we should have had more support up to Gabbi, that was clearly obvious. Also taking Boufal off, I didn't agree with as he was our main creative outlet. And obviously Lemina was a huge, huge miss.

Absolutely laughable some people on here. I mean we got a point against a team that just smashed West Ham 3-0. I do agree that it was frustrating that we didn't go on and win the game but it's 3 unbeaten now. I wish some people would get off Fraser's back, even Thierry Henry said that it got a small deflection on its way in which it made it harder for Fraser to reach too.
