Why did we agree to the VvD transfer before securing our much needed targets? We’ve told the world we’ve got x amount of cash, is it any surprise clubs are asking for money up front or upping fee. We desperately needed pace and goals. As of this moment, The board have failed the fans again. Just like last Jan.

It’ll be even easier when we haven’t got the PL TV money coming in. We have c.£55m of VvD’s (plus salary) 100% coming back into the club. God knows what has happened to the £100m that come in from the TV deal?

I honestly don’t think puel would have done any better this season. There is no way he could have stayed once he lost the dressing room. He’s a good enough manager, just wasn’t suited to us. If you’re asking if I’d rather have Puel or MP, then Puel every day of the week. But I don’t regret wanting him out

Our business canny board would rather tell the world how much money we’ve got. Run by absolute clowns from top to bottom. We could have (like spurs done) brought in all our targets first (first week of the window), then sign the deal for VvD. If they honestly thought VvD was the issue and reason why we are soo ****, they are even more deluded than I thought.

Why leave it so late and not give them enough time to replace? This could have been sorted the first week of January or at the very least as soon as the Theo deal looked dead. For me this comes down to us trying to drive a hard bargain (we ended up paying what they wanted anyway), where the cost of surival is worth a great deal more to the club. If we end this window with only the one player, that will be another monumental **** up bu the board in transfer windows.

Tadic is just high maintenance and falls out with pretty much every manager, but from what I am led to believe Fonte was pretty much the main reason (he was the instigator) why the players turned on Puel last season. Bertrand was set to leave (i.e he wanted to go) by MP convinced him to stay. I'll be amazed if he is still here the start of next season (but apparently he isn't keen on moving, so would narrow is options - although money talks and I can't see him turning down City, personally). No idea about Redmond, but his attitude on the pitch isn't great.

Positives Assuming this is true, it would suggest a deal is close and the player has agreed to come. A good player, pretty much just what we need. Fair enough, all sounds a bit convenient (without obviously knowing the person who said it, which would obviously add credibility). Hopefully not a case of mistaken identity then. I know we own (or at least used to) a few properties in and around OV so it's not unfeasible that they would be around there.

Agree with all of this, although I think Wigan would turn us over at their place and it won't beat the last time we played there. Failing that, I'd take Hull at home (looking at it from a chance to progress point of view) as they really are terrible. As you've said, I think we'll get Leicester and will probably lose.
