Boufal's last game before he is off to Africa, I think Puel will play him. I would rather Clasie play over Hojbjerg if he is fit.

I thought he was good tonight. Hard to scapegoat him for that peformance.

No way, he showed 2nd half of last season what he can do for us.

Holjberg was a disgrace in the first half and Reed was off the pace. The Davis substitution was superb and we looked much better in the midfield once he came on. I thought Redmond and Boufal looked like they are building quite a good chemistry which bodes well. Rodriguez by far the biggest positive from the game however, besides the 3 points of course.

Ward-Prowse having a good game so far, and great having Tadic back. The way they set up with Clayton, De Roon and Forshaw in the middle means this game won't be a goalsfest.

I agree with thos preaching patience with Redmond. He is a young 22 year old winger with bags of potential and Puel's development of him will be a big plus this season.

Agree that this is a rubbish thread. He showed a lot of good moments and I rate Puel's development of him, people just need to have some patience. Charlie and Holjberg should be much more the targets of our frustration after yesterday.
