Absolutely fine at the Testimonial, and also completely clear in the men's loos at half time, so not the mic or mic technique.
-
Not to mention that people would evacuate along pitchside too which would really speed things up.

The PA from Northam block 41 row S is completely inaudible and has been for at least 10 years. Weirdly at Kelvin's testimonial I sat in Northam Block 43 Row S and the PA was crystal clear - was it that the crowd was quiet, or do the away fans get a better PA than the home fans? Also, the best thing about the shatty PA is not hearing the bo110cks music after goals, so brace yourselves if they really do fix it...

I'd be quite keen for it to be Newport County, but there is no chance of those ducks aligning.
-
Given that they willingly renamed themselves TNS (The New Saints) when Total Network Solutions ceased to exist in order to retain the initials, I'm fairly sure the former Llansantffraid Clwb Pel-droed weren't embarrassed at all. The "Sant" bit of their name means Saint, fairly obviously. At least that name change brought them success - unlike Cardiff's awesome red relegation kit.
-
That's what I'd have done if I was bored and wanted to start a crappy sponsor rumour on a gubbins fake kit.
-
I think you'll find the grammar police and any literary pretensions remain unaffected. Always nice to hear how people found Saints though.

I have Virgin Media with Sky Sports HD - admittedly at full Sky Sports price on top of my (dirt cheap) Virgin subscription, but through the same box. Can't get Sky Atlantic through them though.

Southampton University's Lacrosse team do as well (spotted one at the Eddie Izzard gig at the Nuffield last week). We had mismatched Spall shirts and Umbro shorts when I was there, ffs.
-
No, Palace had one with a red/blue vertical stripe on a white shirt. Which they wore in the last competitive match played at St Mary's. Next season they have a yellow shirt with red/blue sash though. It looks just about ok with co-ordinated advert colours.
-
It doesn't...
-
Either Red or white, depending on the style of the rest of the kit. I'd even go for a black patch with white name and number for an ultra-old school look, not that Saints ever used a black one.
-
I wouldn't bother, the only thing I know about it is that it isn't.
-
Even the Stoke kit adhering to the new rules is striped across the bottom. The Premier League has properly ballsed up with their rebrand, missing timescales for the plain back (thankfully) and, because clubs are already shirt printing next season's kits with the old number and name styles, they're now holding off replacing those for at least a year too. Anyway, one thing that does mean is that unless we've gone for a plain panel already, we'll have a "European kit" this season, whether it is the same design with a panel, or a completely different shirt.
-
They needed something to stop it being identical to the new Wales kit. As I have one of those I should point out that that collar is just weird - the white bit serves absolutely no purpose and just sits there, unconnected to the rest of the collar. It's weird and pointless.

23 of those teams ranked above Saints in whelk's table are not currently in the EL Group stages.
-
Unlikely it'll happen in the group stages, just as likely to be a clash with a CL game on the other days as another EL game on the same day. Most of the places where there are multiple teams from the same city in small cities where it might be an issue (Reykjavic for instance) will be out of it before the group stages anyway. The local police are already used to managing the situation for multiple matches in bigger cities. I can really only see it being an issue where clubs are playing at other grounds to their domestic fixtures.

I'd rather we signed a player who doesn't get themselves suspended for a quarter of the League games and looks like they're trying in all of them tbh. In the short term I think Romeu covers that off just fine as far as the first team goes, but it won't hurt to sign at least one more DM from a European-experienced club who can provide competition for the position.
-
It's under pressure from the up and coming massive amounts of tv money more than "their players are being underpaid anyway". Spurs will either sign the likes of Dier and Alli to new deals this summer or they'll go somewhere else, irrespective of remaining contract. It's exactly the same for every Prem club this season. That's why Saints have had a player in the first year of his contract signing a new deal. If Wanyama wants more money, literally every club in the Prem that wants him can offer him that if they choose to, including Saints.

This one answers that question, http://www.footballseeding.com/european-cups/europa-league-seeding-15-16/ Supporting information from these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016%E2%80%9317_UEFA_Europa_League#Group_stage http://kassiesa.home.xs4all.nl/bert/uefa/seedel2016.html http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/club/index.html

We spent most of the season doing nothing much in upper-midtable, hardly surprising we weren't on much. Norwich were in a relegation battle for months and still barely got on the box. It's splitting hairs when you consider that next season the bottom team will be making as much as the top earners this season.

Every UEFA nation has an entrant into the Europa League. Iceland have 3, all in the 1st Qualifying Round. Pretty much every team in Iceland plays in or near Reykjavic as well. With Hertha's coefficient being very similar to ours (theirs is 16.0, ours 16.7) it's very unlikely we'll be in different pots. We're also fairly unlikely to be drawn against Partizan, Mainz or Austria Vienna either, as they're all between 16 and 19. We also can't be in the same group as West Ham (or Man U) in case anyone's wondering.
