I think the options I saw were something like 4 hours, which is why I was asking why it seemed so long. Then again, more faffing this end to fly to Bremen in the first place, Rotterdam and Salzburg are a lot easier.

Saints opt not to take up right-to-buy on Eljero Elia

Except Mayuka cost no more than £3.5m: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?39722-Emmanuel-Mayuka-Officially-Signed-on-OS-Work-Permit-Confirmed/page3&highlight=mayuka+sign#.VXyIjflViko -
It's utter bullocks. Stoke wore stripes from 1883-1891 but Saints started with their stripes in 1896 - Stoke already hadn't been wearing red and white for 5 years by then, and didn't again until 1908. So there's no overlap where we could have got red/white striped kits from Stoke, unless we hung onto the shirts for 5 years before wearing them! Saints were also only known as St Mary's until 1896, the stripes came along with the Southampton (only) name.

Sizing is the same as the last adidas home shirt (they're climacool so not snug like the black adidas away, and they're not stupidly tight and undersized like last season's).

Blackstock was sold for £500k so I'm not quite sure why you're discussing him in a thread about released players. Best moved to Coventry when his contract expired, and we got £650k for him from tribunal due to his age - still a weird couple of names to pick from the heaps who have had their contracts not renewed though.

I just had a quick look on airbnb and our hotel in Amsterdam is cheaper than pretty much anything on there for 2 miles around Centraal Station. Still an option worth considering for future trips though, hadn't thought to look before. As I'm going to Salzburg and Feyenoord I think I'm giving Groningen a miss - the flight to Bremen looked reasonable but transport links to Groningen seemed to take far too long given the proximity?

Sorry mate, I was just trying to see what it was like being Turkish winding up MLG. I'll stop now. That was certainly the attitude I was getting. He was actually winding me up about FM15 on Facebook last night, so you'll never beat the master.
-
As someone who just edited his FM15 to include clubs, kits, a lot of badges and a lot of real players from welsh football down to tier 12 (that's the equivalent of the bottom division of Southampton League football, for context), I'd just like to say that the OP is a massive loser with no life who really should reassess his priorities. Ithangewe.

I'm with djharvey on this one. The club chosen to have a sash on the shirt from one of numerous basic styles, all of which are done by pretty much all brands every year, adidas do shirts with sashes on, just as they do plain shirts, halved shirts, shirts with hoops and shirts with stripes, and so do everyone else. I don't know how you can look at it and say "it's an old adidas design" when it's just a normal football design full stop. As I said before, do you look at all red adidas kits and think they're ripping off 1980s Liverpool or 1970s Bayern Munich, or do you accept that plain red shirts are just a design that lots of football teams wear?
-
Weird, because I don't really like the yellow/blue halves, think it would look better with all yellow and blue sleeves. Not that we're looking at that as an option.

Nip over to the Pointless Kit Thread, there are pics in there.

Doesn't have the same involvement out at right back, and as Wales didn't really do much down his wing the focus was on him going forward - a few decent crosses but one hilariously wasteful shot at a vital moment.
-
Disagree. He was, and is, better at defending, he's not as quick or as adept at attacking. He and Clyne were switched in and out depending on the opposition, and we also played Clyne at left back with Chambers at right back on occasion.

What do you think of this Maccabi Tel Aviv shirt then (aside from the Skate)?
-
He's fudgeking amazing on FM15 for some reason, I wonder why? Could it be because the Saints FM15 researcher is utterly in love with our academy?

In a discussion about goals and assists in the Premier League.

It probably means "some fecker noticed we bolted seats across walkways all over the place when loads of people wanted to watch Premier League teams".

It's not obscure enough that this 42 year old doesn't know the words to it. Though it does help if you know it's "You and Me Song"... Still, it's no "The animals went in two by two". -
Nice shot by Tobes, and I say that as I'm being Welsh for the evening.
-
I'm not sure "having a shirt with a diagonal on it" counts as "an adidas design that is several years old" as much as adidas knowing some teams will want a sash and making sure there's the option to do so. More to the point, we've never chosen it before, and that design has never been available before - the mesh collar thing is very much 2015/16. Do you think Man U adidas kits are ripping off Liverpool ones or vice versa because they're both plain red?
-
Also, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVING the 1988-style Umbro shirts Derby will have next season, beautiful new interpretation of a retro classic:

Still can't wait to see how many times we bust out some swaank alternate slime green away shorts.

It looks much worse with the full colour crest on it, too much going on compared to the rest of the shirt. It needs to be a single colour to match the design. The gold badge on the all red kit looked crap because it was 1) a gold badge on a red kit and 2) part of a crap red kit. This one (and the monochrome black and white ones on the last adidas away kit) look really good - though the full colour badge would have worked much better on the black/white shirts than this one.
-
I think the colours and design are excellent, and better than all the pics you linked. If your point is that you don't like it, that's fine, I was just wondering why all the sash pics from various different seasons adidas kits.
