  1. We could have had both of those under any major brand. Cortese didn't want to.
  2. So, can we start complaining about the price yet? Guessing there will be a 10% discount for ST holders, but £50 and £55 for long sleeved is steep.
  3. Stevegrant will be able to tell you who has it...
  4. Also nice to see that there was some legitimacy to the red/yellow leak, the collar and sleeve trim is the same on both, and obviously the diagonal shadow effect on the stripes is evident in both.
  5. You're a fanny.
  6. So, I guess that answers the question of "who was behind the red kit?" nicely then...
  7. There are 3 of you with this opinion. On your own on your own on your own... Poll!
  8. Then you'd have had all the "badge should be over the heart" people on your case. It needs a logo there for balance, but I think the design other than that is great.
  9. Poll? Preferably one which asks if you prefer this season's to last.
  10. Other than "it's navy" as mentioned on here, I know nothing.
  11. It could do with the Saints Apparel logo though.
  12. I like it, and of course... It's stripes.
  13. 5 minutes, people...
  14. I'm pleasantly surprised by the reaction of the person I know who has seen it.
  15. I believe it is customary on here to press T H I and then S, before posting.
  16. This is always a question that has bothered me. The obvious answer is that we had just had the sash and he hadn't given consideration to not wearing stripes regularly at the time. Also the shirt sales were a much more sizeable share of revenue with the poor tv revenues and he didn't want to mess with a money maker until we got to the Prem and interest went up significantly in casual fans. It might also have been agreed with Markus long before, he passed on the previous season. Or just been necessary to revert to stripes in between non striped options to attempt to maximise revenue.
  17. I like the West Ham one, it's a nod to the McAvennie/Cottee kit from the early 80s. Don't like the sky blue shorts they have though, someone obviously decided it was necessary due to the lack of sky blue sleeves, but the original had white shorts and was fine... Of course I'm sure they'll have the traditionalists who didn't like it then and don't like it now, but there's no excuse for it nowadays, the 80s was a time when clubs were just getting into replica marketing and the manufacturers/brands had more power, they should have made all their mistakes long ago and shouldn't be repeating any. Quite looking forward to tomorrow now, makes sense that they'd reveal the shirt about now, given that they've taken the old banners down and must be about to put the new ones up.
  18. Assuming Robbie's just tried to post something about psychology, can someone tell him we already did that whole argument months ago in this thread and it's irrelevant anyway? Oh hang on, it's me that can't see his stuff, not the other way around.
  19. Last season's home kit looked at home on a parks pitch as well as that red and yellow thing Cortese wanted.
  20. Strange isn't it? You'd think an Italian man would have more fashion sense.
  21. Sorry for quoting, I have also added him as of now.
  22. Anyone using the phrase "total football" in a context other than players switching positions and being comfortable anywhere on the pitch should be shot in the head by a cannon. Especially when it's used as lazy shorthand for any match involving a Dutch manager.
  23. Ha, purely based on the comment above about the media room backdrop, nice one.
  24. Oh, I'd forgotten you're the pr1ck who thinks "to relegate" is decent English. The conclusion you've come to from my point about own brand kits not having any bearing whatsoever on performance is precisely the reason everyone things you're insane. You do not seem able to comprehend basic information, so I'm not going to waste my time any further.
