Disappointingly, he's actually quite good.
-
You're getting a template I prepared earlier. Works for adidas.
-
It's why their odds are so low in the face of all evidence though... 250,000 idiots still drunk from 2008 sticking £10 they borrowed on them to win whatever division they think they're still in.
-
This being Oxford who were in the top division for 6 seasons in the 80s, which with the Skates' season up in 1988 is a whole 2 seasons shorter than Portsmouth have been at the top level over the last 30 years.

Closest he came was this when we couldn't agree a payment plan (which is also presumably responsible for that loan we had) : "’Bologna have reacted angrily to the player and agent’s outspoken comments, with chairman Albano Guaraldi saying: ‘Ramirez is contracted to Bologna – and the club will decide upon his future, not the player himself.’Ramirez’s behaviour is totally unacceptable, giving open interviews like that without consulting us. Gaston cannot force my hand with two interviews. I am a serious person and I’ve already said it will take €20m to sell him. And I also told his agent.’" http://metro.co.uk/2012/08/21/southampton-end-interest-in-bologna-winger-gaston-ramirez-544476/

Not sure there's the will to pursue that with the relevant manager no longer part of that committee, somewhat undermines the confidence in being able to develop the player as you'd hope.
-
Oh, and I'd just like to take this opportunity to point out to Batman (or Delldays if he's lurking) that the Champions are not starting their defence of the title with a match against a promoted team, which he says happens every year and is guaranteed, or some nonsense.

I'm not sure what the problem is with Cardiff on Boxing Day, it's only about 2 hours away by road and there's a direct trai... oh, not on Boxing Day there isn't. I'm not bothered, I'll be up there then anyway.
-
If you had more mates they might have asked you.
-
You deserve a nutjob t-shirt for this post alone, holiday boy...
-
I have no idea why we're still discussing Hooper now Adkins is not our manager any more, the only reason the link was there in the first place was because Adkins managed him at Glanford Park.
-
In terms of Premier League teams, of which Saints are one, it is the last game of the season. There are also probably non-league playoff matches scheduled later as well, but I also don't give a toss about them, as it's irrelevant to 95% of the teams likely to feature in the Final.
-
It'll probably still be 5:15pm just to annoy me, but it's a step in the right direction.
-
I want to be on the team that wears THIS :
-
He's no friend of mine, he's got some right dodgy mates, about half of them played for Saints Fun against the Saints Forever side in that match we had where I met all of them too... Also, I was an original Fleming Park Saints Forever kickabouter back in the 2004-6 period, and I'm all in favour of restarting it, met loads of people off here in various footy kickabouts and it's a bloody good laugh, harmless enough.
-
I'm not bothered at all, and as for twitter... they're welcome to it, I won't be using it any time soon. Anyone can take a pic of a teamwear kit, shove it into Paint.NET and stick a Saints badge on it...
-
Just for the record, I met Turkish through 5-a-side football. I wouldn't say we were "mates" though.
-
It's my mock up runthrough instagram with a suitably lazy 3 stripe pattern slapped onto the front of it and Flares-style sponsor logo overlaid. Oh, and the cuffs changed to white. Must remember to sneakily slide my name into the shirt pattern somewhere next time.
-
As I mentioned above when discussing the Ajax kit, having stripes is actually the easiest way of having multiple versions of the same theme, it's the other teams that are going to have problems looking "samey" - not that it stops some people buying everything anyway.
-
Who ARE the sponsors ?
-
Not in the sense that you can have more than one sponsor in the FL. You're allowed kit company branding, the club logo, plus one sponsor logo of an agreed maximum size on the front of the shirt.
-
Neutral venue, we were obviously designated as the away team or Watford would have had to change their shorts. You lose.
-
So, just to recap, for the home shirt, from our ITKers we now have : Two schools of thought re: sleeve colour (red or white) Two schools of thought re: badge (traditional or gold "outline" style) Two schools of thought re: shirt sponsor (aap3 or "someone else") And even two schools of thought re: whether it looks like a crappy adidas teamwear shirt or not. But I'm pretty sure the latter are in the minority on the last one).
-
It's not even close to accurate either, as Stoke wear white shorts and socks, and Saints have never worn both of those at the same time as a home kit... except once, against Chelsea in the FA Cup last season when the shirt wasn't striped* anyway. *see above re "pinstripes = stripes" argument.
