  1. Oh hang on, as well as the video there are a load of pdfs entitled Disabled Supporters Information How to get to St Mary's How to use your ST Map of Stadium Match Day Hospitality Match Day Info ST T&Cs Haven't opened them all but not sure they're very interesting. EDIT : Have now looked at them all, and yeah, pretty dull. FWIW, they haven't changed the Disabled/Ambulant policy, no online sales.
  2. There is NOTHING of interest on the USB other than "GLOBAL AMBITIONS". It's a bunch of clips of last season with some buzzwords, and then right at the end there's a 3D shot of one of those tiny model stadiums of St Mary's (current, no changes) and that's it. Most of the video is showing you what's in the pack you've just opened. Oh well, no "developing stadium plans" argument this summer... Will see if I can upload the video anyway.
  3. Can't get the "gold" page with the message from Cortese uploaded at the moment, will add that later. Going to plug the USB in now...
  4. As I said in the OP, I have to edit out my details from the card first, give us a chance ! Then onto the USB to see what Turkish and MLG can row about all summer.
  5. Just picked ours up... the pack looks like this, the USB video is below : Box cover : Inside : Yes that is a little Saints badge, yes there is a lot of gold. Cortese blurb page now added : The ST, a USB card thingy and the "Instructions"...
  6. Not sure why they signed him in the first place and brought in a manager with a completely different perspective on how the game should be played which was clearly at odds with his skillset. Pochettino has already shown he's happy to start Gaston at home regularly even when his form isn't great.
  7. Given that our main tactic this season has involved our central striker dropping deep and the wide midfielders pushing into the forward positions, that's not really surprising. I'd give Ramirez a 6/10, flashes of greatness, mostly solid performances but not really suited to our current style, not enough of a ball-winner for the pressing style and without a central player to put through balls to, most of his vision goes to waste. Harder-working and more defensive that plenty are giving him credit for though, and definitely has the right attitude. Needs to stop trying to deliver all of his set pieces with whip and dip and spin and pace and just make sure they end up in the penalty area.
  8. Interesting that based on the appraisal of Ramirez, presumably alpine would have also sold James Beattie, Adam Lallana, Andrew Surman and Morgan Schneiderlin...
  9. Bin joke has been done aap means monkey in Dutch, doesn't it ? Spooky.
  10. Suspect the club will - be prepared for them to say "no money back" though. Would it be cheaper to pay the "new" ST fee in the new location than the renewal at the price in the original location ?
  11. It's the future. I think...
  12. I'm guessing it's just pass completion, I think our crossing brings that number down, some games we did a lot of crossing and they're the generally one of the least completed passes.
  13. I agree, but at the same time, when Lambert takes a free kick he always shoots and usually on target, we DO try to walk the ball in and therefore shoot less from inside the area (and more from outside proportionately, just I'm guessing less overall in total ?), and we are good at defending the wings WHEN our full backs are there, but as they're on average on the half way line, we're easily exploited in behind them by direct passing, as only the CBs are back.
  14. There's formatting behind it on their screen, it's 43 yellow and 2 reds (just checked). Good question though, glad someone's reading it !
  15. ...says Lee Cattermole's career.
  16. I don't think I've ever communicated on here with anyone on my Friends list on here, I already know all of them IRL and don't often communicate with them then either!
  17. Shots : Shot Directions Left 18% Middle 67% Right 14% Shot Zones 6% 6 yard box 47% 18 yard box 47% outside box Against us, shot zones were 7%, 57% and 36% respectively, which is probably why we look like we take a high percentage from outside the area (because we do). Not necessarily a lot of shots, but a large percentage.
  18. Type Passes per game Effect Short pass 396 82% Long ball 55 11% Cross 24 5% Through ball 6 1% Six through balls per game on average over a season, eh ? Anyone think we need someone who can open up defences with a run ?

  21. My dad shouted his name out to acknowledge his existence outside the Stade de France for Scotland v Brazil, opening game at the 1998 World Cup. We didn't have a ticket, didn't get in and nearly got mugged by some locals purporting to have a ticket to sell... I bet he didn't. That's all I've got. I was there to see him score that mental bending goal against Villa at Anfield that was on the MotD titles in the late 80s/early 90s with his number 10 shirt to the camera and Ian Rush(?) doing a little dance and hugging him too, but that's even less interesting.
  22. I was hoping this might have been submarine based, wondered if we had any posters who might know anything about them.
  23. I wish they'd stop using that bloody adidas template with the ball logo in the bottom left, they haven't used that for about 3 years. All the current shirts just have "Climacool" printed on them bottom right as you look at them. Like this (presumably) AC Milan shirt.
  24. He played pretty well in that one, for him, but I suspect Joe Hart and Gareth Barry's efforts at being the worst player on the pitch kept him out of the equation - unlike at the Etihad, when he assisted their winner with probably the worst defensive header in the Prem last season.
