    Wigan v Swansea

Well maybe realise that it doesn't make that much difference to Saints' chances of going down ? It's a 2% swing either way and we're still in the high 90s of likelihood to stay up. Ooh, we got a mention. Commentator was wrong though, we're currently safer than "have to play Chelsea" Villa, for one.

That Schecter is sh01te, get him off... said everyone, first half...

    Wigan v Swansea

Soooo, how does everyone feel now ?

    Wigan v Swansea

Not when losing them both is still more likely than not going to see Saints staying up.

    Wigan v Swansea

Meanwhile, one more Wigan goal in that Villa match would send Norwich down. Also, even Saints losing to Sunderland AND Stoke STILL wouldn't relegate us unless that also happened.

    Wigan v Swansea

No, Newcastle and more likely, Norwich, are. And Wigan have Arsenal away next week. Newcastle have a comfy home against QPR, but Norwich have West Brom at home and Man City away and are already one point behind us.

Whilst Swansea had had one shot, from a backpass free kick, and barely attacked at all.

    Wigan v Swansea

It says something that I don't know which team you're referring to as "physical" about how "physical" either of the sides are !

    Wigan v Swansea

Well Michu probably won't be up to his usual standard with a pulled hamstring, and Dyer's been in and out of the starting side all season.

I want to know what everyone else thinks about this ?

    Wigan v Swansea

I no-sold it, makes barely any difference to us, and entirely expected anyway.

    Wigan v Swansea

I didn't think they did, did they ? Certainly not on here.

    Wigan v Swansea

    Well done.
  14. The9

    Wigan v Swansea

    Well that was hardly unexpected.

    Wigan v Swansea

Superb hold by Vorm, that. "Sometimes dips" says Alan Smith, as if that one didn't...

They'll all part "away from the ball", it's not a difficult thing to work out.
  17. That's because they usually underrate multiple passing moves with simple finishes in favour of long range shots. Rodriguez against Chelsea was a superb goal.

    Wigan v Swansea

Fantastic idea, other than them all knowing all they have to do is get out of the way and it's a goal kick.

    Wigan v Swansea

Not as impressive, this one was just a rolled ground pass he massively underhit and had the chance to chase after.

Tyler is wrong, you're much more likely to score aiming at the entirely unblocked top half of the goal than hammering it at people who all know to get out of the way if there's no touch. The two things they did wrong were 1) not tapping it twice to misdirect the onrushing defenders, and 2) tapping it to a donkey centre back.

Yeah, he accidentally passed it to himself a couple of minutes ago when trying to find a teammate.

10 minutes on my telly, thought it was 8pm kick off.
  23. He hasn't sold the club yet, and he'd make a massive profit on that.
  24. Please note, I do not have a second account.
  25. Yeah, as long as Wigan win at home to Swansea and away to Arsenal, Newcastle beat QPR, Norwich beat West Brom, Sunderland beat Saints, Villa beat Chelsea, Stoke beat Spurs and Fulham at least draw with Liverpool. And then on the final day in order to win AND get relegated, we'd have to beat Stoke by less than they beat Spurs the week before, Sunderland would have to get at least a point at Spurs, Wigan would have to beat Villa, Newcastle beat Arsenal, and Norwich beat Man City. So just the 12 matches to go one specific way with a bit of wiggle room around Fulham... That's worth a quid.
