Stevo also said this. Shows a distinct lack of imagination if you ask me, Febreze was a LOT less direct, fewer tricks and not as quick. He's more like a really really amazingly good Neil McCann with some skill and strength.

Probably the best debut I've ever seen from a Saints Player. Looked like the best player on the pitch by some distance and always a threat. Skilful, quick, beat players, attacked the goal... I still don't know if he can defend, but I no longer care. He was the best of our three wingers tonight.

QPR make Saints an offer for Puncheon (Player Exchange)

Get over there with the Ferrero Rocher, but try not to scare him. -
In the 2008/9 pre-season I REALLY had no idea where the kids would finish (even so after the Cardiff away match we lost 2-1), but always had the nagging doubt from the fixture list that if you couldn't see the sucker in the poker game it was you. However, this season I am 95% certain we will finish in the top half somewhere. I can't envisage a relegation battle under any circumstances that don't involve the club being unexpectedly sold, and I have no reason to suspect that will be the case. Then again I wasn't expecting Pardew to get the boot in August last year either.

Just realised along with my corroboration of the Jemal rumour re: medical last week it's actually my 3rd pseudo-ITK moment this week.
-
Becau... hah, I see what you did there.

They seemed to fit when I tried it, but I'm just choosing not to repeat it in my head now.

Or indeed "I am in Belgium / Holland enjoying fries with mayo".

No, legitimate posting, this is not a wind up even if it is my second really tenuous rumour of the week having not posted anything like it before. What I was actually told was that he went away with only the name on the shirt and was told to come back when they knew Guly's number (I think it was Monday that was suggested). Anyway, this is already bigger than the utter load of cobblers it sounds like, so I shan't be taking any further questions.
-
I suspect you have just lost the tenuous belief there may have been in the first post about 0s...
-
That's not actually true, he was always a striker, Merrington asked him to play right-back in a trial for Saints (and in goal). http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/3128127.stm Mind you, there's a massive hole in the story, suggesting that he pitched up on trial in 1994 when Chris Nicholl was manager, so something's wrong.

Just thought, you could also become a James Ward-Prowse fan, though I'm guessing they'll tell you they've run out of letters first.

I will kill anyone associated with singing that dirge at St Mary's. It has nothing to do with once being engaged to a girl named Judy, honestly. Regards, Me.
-
If you base starting sides on Twitter posts made by players expecting to be involved, Ryan Dickson would have got 50 games last season.
-
I would like to propose the loud booing of Chris Wood as a Brighton loanee last season, though he did have the decency to be shart and miss that penalty at St Mary's against us.

Near enough. -
I want you to do Brooklyn, and ask them if they have any coffee coloured training kit.

Lallana being 20 might have something to do with that, assuming it's true. I like that someone has tried to illustrate how tenuous the piece of information I posted was, like I didn't know it was 4th hand - I explicitly catalogued the origins of it, FFS! It is interesting that as I'm clear and unequivocal about my sources I get the p155 ripped for it, even though I said "It's probably b011locks" in the bloody post. What more am I expected to do, exactly ? The alternative is just not posting it at all, and then this place would be really rather dull.

And 6 up!

Because FourFourTwo are maddeningly inconsistent. Seems fairly feasible to me as well, Watford in particular had an appalling run from February and have lost Mackay to Cardiff. I think that's the table I'd have gone with about a month ago, and that we're higher now. Can't see Boro being that high though.
-
Easy to find out if it's crap or not too, someone phone the Megastore and ask for a new shirt with Guly 10 on it.
-
I know, but no-one's got that number, so it's not likely to prompt people to claim that an existing player's number wasn't being printed due to him taking it. Though if I was Seaborne I'd be tetchy about 25 too...
-
Nice find, shame about the "Davies" at the end.

I was watching him pretty closely due to the weird way Werder have used him previously (in the Champions League against Spurs as a sub in the middle http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/09/15/werder-bremen-2-2-tottenham-tactics/, and here on the right http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/09/27/werder-bremen-3-2-hamburg-tactics/ but most of all in this match where he provided the entire argument that a wide midfielder can play in the hole http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/08/19/werder-bremen-3-1-sampdoria/ ) but he was pretty quiet - they did some vaguely interesting things with him pushing into the front line and the 2 central strikers going wide, but that was about all of note as Saints mostly had the ball at the other end. He played in both matches, didn't do much in the second one either...
