  1. At least it's an actual "Tailored By" looking shirt - unlike the Linfield one for next season which is basically the current (non-Tailored) Rangers shirt crossed with the current West Ham home shirt - but with a Tailored badge on it. I hope we end up with something more akin to the new Rangers style than any of the others.
  2. I know, he told me in the pub on Saturday, and I mentioned it twice in this thread already... ...my point is that in terms of stopping people getting hold of it, the worst thing they can do is try and suppress it as it only makes people interested. Seeing as they're presumably trying to build interest in STs and the new kits by restricting information on them, you'd think they'd realise this...
  3. 1) The people we're complaining about 2) Lambert/Lallana/Fonte/everyone, have you not seen the other threads? 3) Pardew/Hughes, have you not seen the other threads? 4) Probably not if we sack the manager, have you not... etc?
  4. Well that's alright then, may as well have Chelsea and Man U pitch up to represent Hartlepool and Exeter to make it more interesting.
  5. As opposed to the Lambert song, which is correct in height, name, player's ball getting and p155-taking ability, shirt number, club affiliation and goal machine tendencies, and only a bit dubious about his potential ability to take us to the Premier League... ... the Lee Barnard song is incorrect about his stature, pugilistic tendencies, and comparable ability to a player who is two leagues above and plays a completely different position. In "short", it is "fcking hard" to see how either the player or his song is "better than Frank Lampard". Wasted opportunity that one, he could easily "hit the ball fcking hard" and "be better than..." I dunno... "Pericard"... All we are saying... is give us the truth...
  6. Apart from the fact that it clearly doesn't fit as well without, he's not 6ft 3.
  7. :partyman: It was perfect, other than not changing a couple of 09s to 10s when I cut and pasted it, us going on a couple of cup runs, and having no idea if we'd get drawn home or away in the JPT... ...I've got one for the World Cup if you want it ?
  8. In which case he'd be one of the few who got his in the post already... ..the weirdest thing about all of this is that the programme IS clearly out there in the public domain, and there's nothing stopping anyone from uploading it. By the time the club get a copyright strop put on it everyone will have copy for themselves downloaded from that source, and it'll be completely pointless trying to suppress it anyway.
  9. I've been to Aldershot to work on the odd day here and there. Based on a lunchtime or two meandering around the town centre trying to buy food it's about as unfriendly a place as I've been to in Britain, and I spent 8 months doing installations in Register Offices from Penzance to Norwich and Hastings to Hartlepool. Also, it's a bit of a sh1111tehole, and I come from Newport... As for League One Playoff winners... Swindon have had our number, get rid of them please.
  10. I'm not sure if he's on a wind-up or just really, really, highly strung.
  11. That's cos you're a brainwashed mentalist. Actually, seriously I can see your point, but the polarities of people who care about the two sides of this make it impossible for there to be any common ground, it's always going to be evil rainforest demolishing moneymen versus tree-hugging hippie crappers. On an unrelated note, have you seen Avatar ?

    Stupid Ideas

The fact they refuse point blank to share a ground when the council has said it will only fund one new ground (and already given permission to Liverpool to build on Stanley Park) makes the whole thing bloody preposterous. The bit about sharing a stand isn't that new an idea, Cardiff RFC and the Arms Park had a shared concourse before they built the Millennium Stadium on the site and eventually moved Cardiff rugby to the Leckwith site with the detestable football team.
  13. Brainwashing fence-sitting mentalist. To clarify : The people who care about this stuff generally don't care about world economies as a measure of qualify of life. The people who measure things in terms of world economies and money don't care about ecological biodiversity. Viz, never the twain shall meet.
  14. It fits exactly the same, 2 syllables.
  15. More to the point, are any bookies taking bets on Pardew still being Saints manager in August, and what ridiculously ungenerous odds would you get when trying to bet on that one ? Anyone remember the Skate on here claiming Redknapp would get the boot at Pompey the week of the Panorama bung programme ? He only lasted about another 18 months before leaving of his own accord...
  16. Bagsie/shotgun guessing we play Bournemouth away on first day, even though there's no possibility of it happening due to the configuration of the fixture computer, etc.
  17. That version is wrong - the "proper" version is "he stands at NEARLY 6ft 3" anyway. Just as the planks singing "Over 6ft 3" and the people who think he'll "fire" us to the Premier League are all boners too. And don't get me (re-)started on the lack of pause in the second line of the Jose Fonte song either.
  18. It will be until we discover... nothing.
  19. He's banned.
  20. It's the "something like that's" that are the problem.
  21. Yeah terrible failure, considering where they were the season before, and all of the success Mancini has brought since... Don't get "sacked by a bunch of impatient money men with no knowledge of football" confused with failure. Hughes is an excellent manager who has had successes everywhere he's managed. Which is not to say I'd rather he took over from Pardew at the moment, I have every faith in the job Pardew has done so far and is doing, and I'd rather he didn't.
  22. Record after first 23 matches : http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/LeagueTable/0,,10280~20091226,00.html Pld 23 W 10 D 8 L 5 FA 41-27 Pts 38 Record in the last 23 matches Pld 23 W 13 D 6 L 4 FA 44-20 Pts 45 I've removed the -10 altogether as a constant applied throughout the whole season. So we won more matches, drew fewer, lost fewer, scored more, conceded less and got more points in the second half of the season than in the first half. Exactly what measure of "getting better" are you using ?
  23. It's "Fearne", FFS, you mongtard(s).
  24. Difficult to know, as he was out of contract LAST season but played in pre-season on the wrong side of his July 1 expiry. I heard at Eastleigh (first friendly, when we weren't sure we'd make the second one) that he'd had a contract extension, but given the uncertainty and lack of funds at the time, not sure how that could have been possible. Clearly something happened though, as he stayed all season, unlike Wotte and Svensson...
