I don't agree with OP at all. We just beat Inter Milan, what a joy it is to be able to say that. We do need something extra in attack but I thought the same last year. Pelle could be woefully inconsistent and if Mane wasn't scoring then we used to struggle. Long has his moments but he has never exactly been a clinical finisher, hopefully he will find form soon. Redmond looks full of potential, Boufal just needs time to fit into the team and Austin is always a threat. We're fine.

I would go so far to say he is the best CB in the league and has potential to be one of the best I have ever seen. Did anyone see him charging forward? JWP outstanding. He is getting better and better and looks a lot better since last season already. I'm a big fan of PEH but thought he had a scrappy game, he came good in thee end. Martina showing why he's not first choice but certainly did a good enough job as cover. This is truly a great result for the club.

Agreed on both counts! Koeman's subs often caught me by surprise. Think I'm more in the Puel school of thought. We've suffered over the congested fixtures for the last couple of seasons. Bit early too say conclusively if Puel is better but if Redmond, Tadic and J-Rod start scoring we will be quite a force.
