We were leaking goals all preseason, did expect our defence to be fairly bad but not THIS bad

Pretty bad game in all areas

Done!

I fully support VAR. It promotes fairness and reduces referee errors

Looks like the sponserhip marketing team have had their way over the art team. Looks like an advertising board to me

What's his value now? Packet of crisps?

Yeah this thread is nonsense. He wanted to go, he was in the last of his contract and his form was very on and off for us. This move has done him the world of good. In an ideal world we would have kept him and he would have played at his best for us every week but that's unfortunately just fantasy. I for one am happy for him to play well for Ajax as he was a great servant for Southampton.

Very happy for Tadic to get a game like this in Madrid

JWP for me, massive improvement on his past form

It's certainly a lot more satisfying supporting a team of players who at least seem to care a little what happens to the club rather than the size of their instagram following

Won't miss him, sooner he's gone the better

Looking in the best form I have ever seen from him! Much improved

Bit of a mixed game today! Good goal, bad passing and awful penalty

Is he actually even a footballer?

Mo looks to be another terrible purchase. Our recruitment has really gone down the pan

Mo is a passenger so far

There were some outrageously good goals in that list. Team bias aside I think Sturridge deserved it

Happy with this one!

Sunderland demolition

On his day Tadic is unplayable, he has had some great games for us and I wish him all the best! Hope we can recruit sensibly this year so we don't end up missing him

Yeah that was an ugly dive. Making the deliberate decision to trail a leg in the direction of the oncoming defender rather than shooting is pretty ****ty

I thought Cacaras was only a myth

Mark Lawrenson is doing my head in, please don't let him near any more microphones

Bale is an absolute legend

Come on Madrid!! Bale to score the winner!
