Yeah this thread is nonsense. He wanted to go, he was in the last of his contract and his form was very on and off for us. This move has done him the world of good. In an ideal world we would have kept him and he would have played at his best for us every week but that's unfortunately just fantasy. I for one am happy for him to play well for Ajax as he was a great servant for Southampton.
