Late 30s here. Watching us get promoted back to the Premier League on my phone, whilst refusing to come out of the work stock room. Watching the 8-0 vs Sunderland in a random hotel in Winchester. JPT Final with my dad and a lot of Guinness. (I managed to hold the vomit until I got back to Isle of Wight, which still impresses me) That 6-3 game against United. Watching it update on Ceefax lmao. Getting to see MLT play for us for my whole childhood. Especially when they played a friendly against an Isle of Wight XI near my childhood home and I met him! Made my day as a tiny nipper.

Haha no way, still have a copy of the VHS tape

I put it through a plagiarism/AI checker, and it's legit just 100% AI generated waffle. Wasn't even written by a human. Lazy.

Didn't meet Ken, but met either his brother or cousin in Amsterdam on Boxing Day 2009. Saw my Saints shirt, shouted KENNETH MONKOU with a grin and proceeded to spend about an hour showing me photos of them together on his phone 😂

As a kid, me and my brother met Claus Lundekvam in West Quay food court - he was a gentleman, took time to chat to us and it was like he was just any other bloke. Also met Le Tiss amongst others when thry came across to play an Isle of Wight XI one pre season. My mum once had Chris Marsden in stitches with her terrible driving near The Dell. I met Harrison Reed, and a few other youth players at the time (Cody Cropper was a lovely bloke), whilst working in town - still had to charge him to fit a screen protector on his phone, mind 😂 Oh, once me and my brother were admiring a very nice (and somewhat out of place) car in his flat blocks underground car park - it was a certain Mr Romeu's 😂 Non-Saints related one to finish - on a family holiday to Spain in the early 90s, we were lucky enough to share a hotel with Wally Kidd, of Hearts fame. He was a lovely down to earth bloke, we spent alot of the holiday with them and I still vividly remember his kid slipping over and cracking their head open next to the pool 😂

I looked this up and yeah, he played under GC in the famous 14-1 win. It was our Phil who's error led to the conceded goal. One of our own.
-
I think he'd probably have better luck - mainly because Ajax are, in fact, not PSV where ABK was on loan.

So if I recall correctly, you can sign a free agent as long as they're a free agent before the deadline. So basically, as long as Fraser is released by Newcastle by 10:59pm we are good to sign him whenever.

Red Puma training kit

Sending my thoughts and condolences to all. RIP.

lmao, my mate's dad.

Oh goody, the goalkeeper from VAR-gate back in 2020 who went on conceded 6 goals to Norwich in the cup playing for Boscombe. Definitely a "Saints-y" signing..

I'm led to believe it's on beIN Sports CONNECT over there. Source: https://m.livesoccertv.com/match/4687082/sheffield-wednesday-vs-southampton/

Yeah I proper like it, almost as much as I like the home kit

Has anyone else noticed we've started using U21 and B team interchangeably? The website lists our "U21" squad, but has the "B Team" staff, for example. Did our B Team Rebranding just fall flat on it's face? I know it's trivial, but the name change did have a little fanfare attached?
