but it would not need to be closed if they locked them in for 10mins, i know of no other ground where the home supporters are inconvienced instead of away ones
-
i still do not understand why we are locked in at Fratton but they are not at SMS, it must be down to the Southampton Division Commander being pc
-
26k at most
-
Agreed except it is not Hampshire Old Bill but Southampton, we get locked in at Fratton all 2000 of us , Skates all 3200 let out at the same time. Sorry but his reply is hot air lets hope their "intelligence" is up to date when Brum,Cardiff and West Ham visit
-
the proof of the statement will be when Pompey visit , unless intelligence suggests there will be no trouble because we live in the same county and support the same cricket team

As Chairman of a local club I watched an Under 15 game this morning followed by a Southampton Junior League mens game this afternoon, missus not happy as had jobs lined up for me because no Saints game -
lots of words but little concrete plans, looks like some painting company will be asked to take a chance and paint Fratton and then hope to get paid.

hope not the last bungling oaf brought in his mates

bit of a jonny come lately, do not remember the tw*t being on the scene until after 1999.
-
of course our transfer activity may be because there was no money available

if only it was that simple, you aim and plan for promotion in the year you want and it happens. Even if you spend a fortune it is not guaranteed.

I would take losing 1 in 5 for the rest of the season. -
Hate them

Agreed as with every club we will try to win every game, if we win enough we get promoted, if we win only a few more we get relegated. 5 year plans on the footballing side are meaningless, how do you plan for the strength of the opposition

for his first ten minutes his teammates did not want to pass to him

14354 Another administration on its way , wonder how many actually paid today. SAY 6000 seaon tickets(so money already spent) 8000 at say £25 equals £200000 to last until next game
-
Struggling with that if you had seen them all regularly but put Neimi ahead of Shilton
-
So how many thousand were locked out today
-
Strange that Warnock was saying what a marvelous club we were on Goals on Sunday a few weeks back
-
strange statement, so why are we looking?

Went into town today and whilst wife was in BHS, i sat outside and started day dreamng as i look back up Above bar. Memories of the road as it was, and then the town. Jumping of the bus at Woolies, into the Park Inn, Warrens or Haymarket. Park Inn because it was next door to a bookies. Then thought of leaving Scullards to go to the Dell, or Spa Tavern on a Friday/Sat night. And then as i thought of the 1 May 1976 and how the street was after the pubs closed that night, a tear came to my eyes.

In the end it did not matter who we appointed, yes better appointments would have brought us more seasons in the premiership but the basic issue was RL and gang were never going to be able to put enough extra money in the club to survive in top flight

remind me where Clifford works now
