  1. just think he has made a poor decision, or has been poorly advised, this early in his career
  2. Walcott dragged of virtually every game, showed his dis pleasure towards the end of last season.
  3. we said that after Chivers, Channon, Wallace,Le Tiss, Bridge, Bale, Walcott another one will soon come along, just be patient
  4. still no excuse
  5. Good Luck to him hope he has a nice soft cushion because he will be sitting on the bench a lot lets use the money well and when we visit the Emirates next season and he is still only a bit part player he will envy Lallana who will be a legend and playing every game
  6. get the OB who did the Saints v Pompey game up there, some of the poor sods they arrested only shook a fence.
  7. I two noticed how empty it was, though to be fair more boxes were occupied than last season. I think that during tough times for businesses the first thing to go is Corporate Entertaining not even sure if free booze will change the numbers
  8. the momentum has kept rolling as Steve Jewitt said to me at half time whilst we were stood having a p*ss in the Chapel toilets, we look " organized" "everyone knows their job and does it" in American Football the Coach of the New England Patriots drums that into his teams " do your job" I know one game does not make a season, i am to long in the tooth for that, but i am really looking forward to the season after today,we have set out are stall and the standard is high
  9. YES but why?
  10. Cannot see a big walk up Data Base Only
  11. SUMS up my view
  12. imo this season will be the big test for NC. in the previous 2 seasons we have been successful on the pitch and for one of them we had ML to discuss things with.
  13. do the crowd need geeing up
  14. seems like soton ob are continuing with the tactic of letting all out at the same time, cannot think of anywhere else this happens.
  15. Same sort of things were written about Mark Wright,Jason Dodd and countless others give him a chance to fail and trust in Nigel. CMS ran away from most defenders last season so to knock him for that is very unfair
  16. convince your friends to go to SMS and then go out
  17. basically agree, really it grew during the late 60's and early 70's and mirrored the rise of football hooliganism. what added the spice was the number of events where the two cities were in opposition, even in youth football, Wimpson vs Hillside(Paulsgrove). they used to come to the Fair on the Common, we used to go to Southsea and some of the grotty nightclubs opposite the pier in Southsea. The other major factor was the clubs have not been in the same division that often, so games were special ocassions
  18. will there be a walk up for this game? in the past games against Leeds tickets were only sold up to the Friday night
  19. wonder how many of the 37 will actually be at SMS thereselves
  20. Martin Chivers for Frank Saul
  21. Gone 1-0 2-1 1-1
  22. the slums of Fratton will make him feel at home
  23. 10 pretty eventful years, most of them sh*tty, but highlighted with special moments that only supporters of non big six clubs can understand. The Roman Empire rose and then fell I feel proud to have seen SFC Rise, Fall and then Rise Again. As i enter into my 51 year of support, at 57, the passion for the club is still there,it never went away even during the Lowe,Wilde, Crouch era,
