Dibling already has the physique to allow him to do what he wants to do. Ballard doesn't, yet. He is actually pretty small and I'm, not sure he has great pace to compensate. In the meantime he's going to be reliant on movement, positioning and chances being created for him. We will need to be more patient.

You've spelled Stephen O'Halloran wrong.

Ah yes my mistake. Despite the shitshow, I thought he held the ball up quite well in the first half. By the way, don't let anyone say you don't bring something special to this forum. 10 posts so far and there have been some gems. Can I suggest you spend less time watching the games and more time developing your posting skills, cos at the moment, you might not be presenting your very best self. totally with you.

Do they need a keeper?
-
fair point. Therefore I will reprase. I hope he makes more of in impact on the pitch than they did.

He looks confident. Very hard from the video to determine how good a player he is. Pretty impressive for a 17 year old, but no chance he is PL level yet. I guess the question is, is he going to push for a first team place next season or is that too early?
-
Triffic. Fraser was on the bench, so is next in line. At least you know he will put a shift in. I noticed Archer wasn't on the bench in the Forest game and we had two CBs on the bench, so is he injured? I guess if we played two up front in a 4-4-2 (which we won't) we'd still need a right midfielder, which we don't have. Maybe Sugaware/KWP or Armstrong doing what he does best and that's work up and down the pitch rather than score goals.
-
Perhaps also another Champsionhip side made a better loan offer, and thus Wednesday had to match that offer.
-
If he signs, a possibility that we loan him back or out to a championship side, assuming there is interest?
-
Taylor, Manning, Wellington, Larios. Something has to give. Just imagine if no one signs KWP in the summer and we manage to get him to sign a new deal.
-
Hope this works out better than Meghoma, Small and Larios investments.

First team has not cut it, but great to see we are investing in young talent. It's no Chelsea-level money, but it's certainly not nothing.

Doesn't surprise me, but as you will know then, it's not really the job of the agent to have the players `welfare at heart', it is their job to maximise the players earnings by negotiating the best contracts and commercial deals, help to get the player a move to another club if his wishes or needs it, while also presenting opportunities/clubs that the player hasn't specfically requested but may choose if they desire. Ultimately, the welfare, performance and longevity of a player will help the earnings potential of the player (and thus the agent), so they won't ignore it, but agents aren't their to hold the players hand, they are there to make them richer. Players dont even need an agent. The PFA can and do provide lawyers to handle contract negotiations if a player so chooses. Players take an agent because they know they will get them a great deal. Despite what you say about your son, and that is commendable, agents also don't actually know if a move will benefit a player in the long term or not. Take Bale or more recently Djed Spense. Both got a massive offer from Spurs to play in the PL. But Bale's move looked like it was a shocker at one point, with Bagpuss looking to offload him to Cardiff until he had an injury crisis...and then the rest was history. Spense's move to Spurs similary looked to be a nightmare, but more recently he has impressed for them. One things for sure, financially the moves made sense for both players - and that is what the agents is responsible for. In Dibling's case, his agent will present the options available. He isnt going to flatly refuse to hear (and pass on) offers from Liverpool because he thinks Dibling might end up in the reserves. The decision on which he takes will be down to the player.

Andy Richie's goal has just came to mind. I hope Rodger fucking Milford stubs his toe every day.
-
The two halves at Forest show, with our best team we have a fighting chance in games, without him, Dibling, Sulemana and Ramsdale (which might be the case on Saturday) we are absolute fodder.
-
I agree. Brendon Johnson joined Spurs for £48m and although he had a good season for them before his departed, I think Dibling has been equally impressive while offering a much higher ceiling. Both were/are excellent with th eball at their feet, but Dibling just strikes the ball so well and his weight of pass is bloody lovely.

I am by no means a fan, but if you had watched Ian Andrews play for us, I think you might be a little more forgiving.

Money will be the main factor. No championship club would turn down the oppotunity to have him totally for free for example. A loan fee seems to be par for the course, but if we haven't already, maybe we ought to waive that. His wages may be too big for a lot of championship sides to take on in full too. There is little point in us loaning him out if his wages are not beign paid only for him to sit on the bench.
-
maybe when you are extremely close up to something it's ugliness is less easy to see?
-
Fair play to them for putting their money where their mouth is, but RB Leipzig aint getting him for £30m.
-
Adrian Heath. Nothing compares. I was young and defeats made me cry. Now old, defeats just make me laugh (not through happiness of course).
-
Fair point - and returning him would save a few bob, but equally it would be nice to at least attempt to break the Derby points mark.

beating slow and crap fullbacks in the championship wont necessarily improve his game. He needs to play against the best, every day in training and in games. Playing in the championship will make him look good, but we don't need to advertise his skills. Those are evident to all. He also doesn't need the slog of 50 odd games. So long as he is playing as part of the regular rotation of a big side, being at a bigger club won't hurt him. As you say, he ain't signing a new contract. The offers will come in during the summer and then its just a question of how much Saints are willing to accept. If we turn down all offers (which could happen if we ask for say £70m), then he will have no choice, like KWP last summer. No sure it will come to that. I ould imagine unless we sell this summer we wont have money to buy. As a reminder, despite all the sales last summer (approx £160m), we only spent £10m on Charles and £8m on Stewart.

Excellent news that he is fit and ready to play games. He can do nothing for us when injured, be that play for us, play games out on loan (so we dont have to pay his wages) and/or be available for a transfer so we can improve our finances. What we need now is a manager who typically wants to to try and get 30 passes in before the ball has left the 18 yard box to have an injured crisis at the keeper position.
