    Djuricic

The fitter he has got the better he has looked.
  2. prefer our shirt to that Stoke one because it doesn't have those terrible features on the arms, or a Stoke badge.
  3. football mugs all of us.
  4. I guess that's why there wasn't £50 price tags.
  5. I don't buy these overpriced pieces of tat. Prefer to spend my money on going to games. Bring back Navy shorts.
  6. could not agree more. Looks ****e in the middle. Stick it on the left and it would balance the club badge nicely. The colour looks darker (richer) in the video than the promotional image above. Hope the shorts are a dark navy colour...
  7. Would it be fair to say the `Trust' is currently struggling a little for decent committee members? Or has the stock of been replenished as an overfished lake would be? I must say that looks a tough old job that, working for nowt, with all and sundry watching every single word said/written and more than willing to take a pop at you now that the hard work saving them has been completed and now success no matter what the cost required. No idea why anyone would want to perform that role.
  8. Morecombe are a good outside bet too, but realistically, now that the skates debt has been erased, they have such a bigger budget than the rest, and that will tell. Sadly.
  9. They will just squeeze their suppliers to **** to ensure profits remain the same, keeping unit price low, but they will probably put the prices up, because that will be in line with competitors, who will also be faced with tougher tax laws. I suspect however that they won't end up paying a huge amount of tax. The argument all these companies are taking is that they employ a shed load of people in the uk and the government and the people should be thankful for that and just let them get on with with making their billions tax free without further requests for tax.
  10. Tough season ahead The9. The shakers took 6 points off them this season and their promotion means that won't happen next season. Christ, the path to promotion seems to have cleared. Seriously though, with their budget and the fact their **** players are out of contract and their better players retained, they will challenge under Cook.
  11. good time to become a RN reservist me thinks.
  12. likewise. I didn't think it was up to much until that joke unfolded. Not quite hit that same height since, but love the `gentle' comedy Kay creates. Phoenix Knights is just fantastic television.
  13. This with bells on. Players that are simply not willing to give up, ever, are willing to tackle on the floor with their head and run all day long both to and from goal are the perfect compliment to the technically gifted. A little part of our glorious rise from the ashes was lost when we let him go. Perhaps he wanted too much money, I don't know, but with Morgan likely to leave wasn't he the perfect guy to fill that huge void?
  14. Clyde possibly leaving and the toilet thief out of contract in the summer. Gulp.
  15. In my eyes, any `English' party with seats in Scotland (not simply Labour) was going to lose them simply because the Scots felt as though they were betrayed by the English parties after they started backtracking on the pre referendum promises. Maybe some Scots can enlighten us on that one.
  16. how does PR work with regards to the independents? If their total percentage vote for say 50 candidates only adds up to say one seat. who would get that seat?
  17. I bet the 340 that voted for him instantly regretted it.
  18. 57% turnout in Sunderland, the same as 2010. Is that percentage the norm? Disgraceful.
  19. **** me that's a terrible suit the Sunderland Tory candidate is wearing. I thought he might have been a candidate for one of the joke parties...
  20. Does ten seats justify getting deputy leader?
  21. The Skate News really has hit a new high in terms newsworthiness and journalistic quality with this story: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/video-former-pompey-boss-tony-adams-dancing-1-6728493
  22. If he signed the contract (and I'm not saying he should - I'd sit tight and wait if I was him) then of course that would prevent fans from being cynical about his comments. I think you are old enough to have seen it all before with players. What they say in an interview isn't always exactly what they are thinking or indeed the full picture. By the way I'm pretty sure if we could get him to sign the four or five year deal we would be more than happy to keep him here. I don't think the club is trying to get him on a new deal to maximise any transfer fee. They are trying to retain a talented player.
  23. if we force him out the door (and now he has said he wants to stay, that's what it would be) he can, and will ask for a significant proportion of that £15m transfer fee before departing. The player holds all the cards here. After two decent seasons (and international recognition) he doesn't need to do anything except sit and wait for the mega bucks to come his way.
  24. He is simply holding the position that he is happy to stay to firstly ensure he avoids flack from supporters and secondly to guarantee he gets any loyalty payment should we sell him. He can't lose here. He can sit tight and wait for United to come calling or he can wait for his contract to run out and watch the cash role in 12 months later. I wonder how big a contract we have offered? I wonder how big a contract kept Fabian Delph at villa? I would be surprised if he stayed, and his comments don't make me any more confident. Time will tell.
