Liked last seasons away white kit the most, the Pony kit the least. If I had to go for a home kit the 1948/49 season works for me with the navy shorts. Much better than the black ones.

looks like a fake to me, perhaps to through fans of the scent and create an element of surprise when the kit turns out to be striped. it's strange how Sir Alf isn't really associated with Southampton, more Ipswich. Well before my time, so perhaps in the 70's he was seen to `belong' to us a bit more?
