  1. I hate it and feel it makes us look small time. Get rid.
  2. Andrew Driver was a decent prospect a year or two ago.
  3. Thorn on local radio after the Saints game said he had been given permission to bring in a loanee and it would be a midfielder, so he is clearly looking in that position. Whether we have what he is looking for is a different matter, but only Dickson and Holmes are available really.

I notice one or two posts pointing to "flimsy" new evidence. Sounds to me like peoples minds haven't been made up whether they will be found guilty or not, and that is the point, the jury may think they are probably guilty, but they will only find them guilty if the evidence proves it. They will get a fair trial. Whether justice will be done is another matter.
  5. Crouch took a mean pen for us too.
  6. the handballs weren't, the shirt pull was a pen but difficult for the ref to give, the first pen was obviously outside, Hammond dived - it's embarassing when a side as good as ours needs to cheat by the way, the barge on Ricky was an obvious pen and should have been given, the pen given on Ricky wasn't, but I can see why Walton gave it (the tug on Rickie as he started his run will have helped his cause).
  7. can someone fix the bloody franklin machine.
  8. no need to alter lyrics, I'll be your saint I'll wear a halo And I'll perform miracles If you want me to stoop that low I'll be a saint I'll be a saint I'll be your saint I'll be your saint I'll be your word, I'll be your life, I'll be your heart, I'll be your lights I will be I'll be word, I'll be love, I'll be heart, I'll be your god I'll be anything you want I'll be anything you want
  9. nicely done, my favourite roses tune, start it near me at City and I'll do my best to join in.
  10. Villa Park on a Monday night as recent as 2002 live on Sky. We won 1-0 with a Beattie pen. Brilliant night, buzzing all the way home. There was possibly only 250 there though.
  11. we won't sell out.
  12. anyone tell me when the chocolate boxes were removed (and why - I assume H&S) and replaced with the original family centre stand?
  13. might be an idea to take into consideration the fact we sold our full allocation at Exeter, Brentford, Brighton, Leyton Orient, Plymouth, Bournemouth, Walsall, Dagenham, Bristol Rovers, Swindon, Yeovil and Colchester, but the smaller size capacities restricted overall away attendances. Just 1100 tickets available for Bournemouth for example and 800 at Brighton. Looking at this year we're averaging 2000 and you are averaging 1000.
  14. having experienced the last two nightmare trips there is no way I'm gonna miss out on this one. Nothing is quite like celebrating an away win at **** park surely?
  15. no worries, I'm buying for a mate anyway as I have one.
  16. you have to be a full member to PM. An email or phone number is going to be needed here. My mate wants it. Give him a bell on 07545487558 and he'll buy it.
  17. a last minute winner will make my dreams come true
  18. I'll take it off your hands. See PM
  19. I still think Curtis Davis can cut it at Premiership level (when I saw him at Luton I thought he'd be in the England side by now) and he's the best centre back I've seen against us this season.
  20. I'd be interested to know when the Brighton fans really felt they were going to be promoted.
  21. I personally feel there are far far too many minute silences these days at the football, some have very little connection to SFC and the fans. Remembrance Sunday is certainly one that should be honoured without fail, but I actually feel this should only be done on the day and not 8 days before.
  22. forgot to mention, "the top of the league and we're having a laugh" sung by the whole stand was quality. Massive smile on my face the whole time.
  23. after the 3rd goes in "We're not Dagenham in disguise"
  24. he has great feet enabling him to get out of tight situations without resorting to hoofing it. Defensively sound, although not really tested yet. My biggest gripe is the number of hollywood cross field diagonal balls he plays that are either intercepted or go straight into touch. He needs to knock it simply down the line to Lallana more often. One thing that has surprised me is that he hasn't flown into tackles. I thought h had a reputation as a bit of a butter but he hasn't shown that at all. Very good signing so far.
