we have already signed Jos, got Lee awaiting a permit and Adkins has said other deals are being negotiated yet you and Dalek won't stop moaning about a lack of effort and activity from NA and NC. We have overachieved, be happy about it rather than being such a spoilt child constantly wanting more. Our form is bad, a new player or two can only help. Every fan knows this, just most others are happy to cut the management some slack in doing this as whatever decisions they have made previously have got us here in the first place.

not sure what game you were watching at the Ricoh, but I didn't see him giving either centre back many problems at all. He dropped deep and collected the ball then sliced a few shots from range when he perhaps should have showed more composure and he scored unchallenged from a corner. But brushing them aside? Really? If you want a striker that caused our centre backs problems then Miller at Forest is your man, he bullied our two CBs.

but he wanted a guaranteed place in the side, to live in Donny, £30k a week and £1.5m up front. OK so I have made all that up, but clearly his terms weren't to the liking of the manager and chairman, so they moved onto a different target in just the same way they would have done if Donny had demanded £10m. I for one am happy the club sees fit to turn down a player for their own specific reasons. Hopefully that means they are bringing in the right players with the right character on the right wage level. By and large they have so far. In the end do any of you really think we have missed out on a great player in Sharp? Personally the left field signings like Guly and Lee are far far more exciting, certainly in the short term. In Lee we may have unearthed an absolute gem, who knows, but I cant wait to find out. Lets move on.

actually it was 2 years ago, when they were rock bottom of the Prem of course, and they took a few hundred, but to be fair it was midweek. Hopefully we can find our way to the final too without having cheated the taxman.

why the hell we gave a three year deal to an often injured, unwanted, slow winger with no engine is beyond me. Decent touch, no, he's got a very good first touch, but quite frankly that is not enough at this level. He joined when we were at rock bottom, hopefully on peanuts, but we're a long way from that point now.

also reiterated they were working their socks off (he suggested till the early hours -hence tired eyes) to bring quality in the get us promoted. Not a doubt in his mind that the club were trying to anything else but get promoted this season.

Brilliant news.

I regularly used to suggest Vaz Te on the HCDAJFU threads three years ago. On the latest trip to Oakwell I have to say though that I was more impressed by Craig Davies (the fella they signed from Chesterfield) who was good in the air, had pace and has scored goals. I think Vaz Te only got ten minutes at the end and he caused us problems. As he has settled in he has done well up there.

the number 1 reason why we had to win today as the draw is bloody horrible if you are already knocked out.
