  1. the sooner the law changes so that realistic damages, paid for out of the pocket of the crooks, are awarded to victims the better. That way ****s like this fella will owe a million quid to the victim whether or not they have the finds to pay when they are found guilty and then should they win the lottery in the future, or be awarded bull**** damages like this, they will just be forced to hand it straight over to the victim.
  2. whatever happened to the Titchfield training ground? So glad that fell apart. Couldn't bare to think of Titchfield being home to that lot.
  3. it will be about the new scout
  4. nice spot. The question is was he responsible for bringing in the likes of Aqalani, Kyrgiakos, Poulson, Ngog and Degan?
  5. wouldn't have thought anyone at the club would thank him for revealing that AOC is leaving soon - despite us all knowing it will probably happen sooner rather than later.
  6. why leave them for us?
  7. Realistic? Premiership Brum have been looking at Clyne for some time now. Signing him is not realistic.
  8. good point, doubt anyone noticed your fall from grace.
  9. you won as would anyone that went to 14 or more games.
  10. I think it was £338. My best guess is that it will be £398 for next season. That matches what Norwich charged last season.
  11. spot on. Gobern has not played nearly enough games IMO. Why on earth wasn't Doble sent out on loan earlier?

    Dale Stephens

Interesting as when I saw Dickson I knew straight away that we'd signed a good player. After 6 appearances I can't say the same for Stephens. Mind you everyone thought Pires was **** and in his second season he was one of the leagues best players. I guess it can take a while for some players to settle in and show their true potential.
  13. Loads of announcements on the bbc website about released NPC players. Norris from Ipswich is leaving and I dare say the skates are expecting to pick him up on a free. I've not seen him for a while, but he looked good when we played them in the CCC a few years back.
  14. maybe in the form of a smaller basic salary and a large appearance fee. I agree with you that Jaidi will either get a matching contract to what he has or we will let him go.
  15. I'd imagine Cardiff pay him more than we pay any of our players.
  16. we were buying for the league above whilst in league 1, but is that the plan now we are in the Championship? Bellamy signings are very very expensive. Does our budget stretch to that I wonder?
  17. I think he has potential. He's such a tall, fit player that covers the ground very well. To be fair to him he's been slightly underused and almost always played out of position (he's a centre mid for me) this season so it's difficult to judge him. he's very Carlton Palmer-esque. Whether you rated him of not, in the second tier he'd of been some player. I hate to see young players leave. But I'm reminded of Lloyd James last summer. I never really expected him to be let go, but on reflection it was the right move.
  18. you weren't alone when rating him, maybe the keeping him from Arsenal part. Perhaps it would be a good time to buy a `play mate' from France that might help persuade him to stay - and I'm not talking about a Chala.
  19. when are we listed as a NPC side on the BBC website?
  20. funniest moment - Guly's first touch at Bristol Rovers
  21. love seeing the ground full. So everyone is more than welcome in my book even if its just for one game a season. Boy was it depressing in those dark days when a couple of midweek games in the Championship saw us get around 13k. I think it was Wolves (might be wrong) that was particularly cold and no one was there. Hopefully we can keep increasing home attendances next season. Nothing worse than hearing the "here, there, every ****ign where empty seats" song.
  22. is Jaidi any slower than when he got Brum promoted? Even if he didn't move at all I still think he'd be useful against some of the long ball only score from set piece NPC sides we will face next season. For the first time in years I actually feel relatively relaxed whenever we concede a corner or the opposition keeper smashes the mother of goal kicks down the middle to some lump of a centre back. Seriously, has there ever been a better headerer of the ball than Jaidi?
  23. I also wonder what the fascination is about Danns. He wasn't bad a colchester, was ****ing woeful at brum, done OK at Palace, but nowhere near the quality of Ambrose and Clyne. No reason for him to leave them for us and that can be said of a lot of players on this list.
  24. isn't 26 actually almost beyond a strikers peak these days? FWIW Lee Cook from QPR would be absolutely ideal for us.
