One question. Could you expand on the term adequately replaced? For example was Graham Le Saux (lined up for the same time as exit) an adequate replacement for Wayne Bridge? IMO Le Saux (and I thought so at the time not just afterwards) was a poor replacement, but the majority at the time would probably have suggested it was an `adequate' replacement. Le Saux was a flop, largely injured and woefully short of pace that was exposed on a regular basis. I think what I am trying to say is that `adequate' is such an `average' word. Could you not stretch to something like, potentially as good or suchlike?
