  1. sounds great in principle but how long would it take to organise and would we have to have Chorley as club president?
  2. I'm saying that perhaps Crouch is a creditor (perhaps because he or his firn lent the club money) therefore is kept in the loop by the administrator as to the real financial problems and the likelyhood of any of the offers/enquiries turning out to be worth the paper they are written on. He therefore might be in a position to convey the information to third parties including said Richard Chorley. Somewhat off topic now but whatever. The fact remains, do we need to find x amount by this time next week or what?
  3. who says they are getting a full settlement?
  4. I presume all creditors are kept up to date and perhaps Crouch is a creditor.
  5. I've had skates saying the same thing to me all day. Its all just interweb ********. They say the same thin every year. Just thank them for their £24 quid and tell them that their money may mean the difference between us suriving and not. One day when the football cycle turns full tilt and we are thrashing them 1-4 at not arf crap to send them down we can look back and say it was the skates coming to see us get relegated that actually saved us and made this possible. Cheers.
  6. Reading then in form Charlton
  7. who the hell is going to underwrite anything connected to a company in administration?
  8. would they not have been better getting MLT to say we have one week to live rather than Richard Chorley?
  9. why move the game to the 17th May if the money is needed right now. Who gives a **** about the condition of the pitch? There appears to be mix messages coming out of the club.
  10. Chorley also stated that there was some sort of major meeting involving all the main supporters groups, MPs etc. taking place tomorrow. Is this also correct? Quite surprised it has not been advertised previously. Actually why does Richard not post here?
  11. Chorley said that Crouch called him and told him the `real situation'. He suggested that Fry wasn't revealing the full extent of the financial problem because he didn't want it to effect the Leagues decision about docking 10 points. I couldn't see the connection myself but there you go.
  12. Listened to Richard Chorley on Radio Hampshire on the way home and I'm sure he said that unless the club received a major cash injection it could fold by this time next week. Is that correct?
  13. in a nutshell.
  14. oh what I wouldn't do for a Jeremy Goss UEFA cup memory instead of the somewhat spineless 1-0 defeat in Bucherest we got.

    Wotte OUT

I find it hard to slate Wotte too much as the players at the club right now are simply not good enough. Whether he is partly to blame for some of those players being here I don't know, but whoever signed Wotton, Holmes, Gasmi etc. has to hold their hands up and take some of the blame. You can't polish a turd.
  16. we have a squad full of Cavendish's...bloody useless bastards that fall over when the lights are on them.
  17. As bad as Saeijs has been in two of the last three games he has been the stand out performer since he got here. Perry is terrible IMO and I'd happily allow him to retire. Thomas may never make it back and Lancashire is lightweight. Getting Saeij to sign again is paramount to any promotion push next season.
  18. that squad will be relegated from League 1 IMO.
  19. The Golden Gate?
  20. I'd like to say "why would we not have offered him a new deal if was all that" but the quality members of the youth set up (Prost et al) are long gone so this concerns me. Letting Baseya get anywhere near the end of his contract without offering a new one puts more than enough doubt in my mind that we do not have the right staff in place.
  21. just over 1300 now sold (1pm Thursday)
  22. I thought you said administration was the best thing that could happen to the club? You're not now getting nervous about us going into liquidation are you?
  23. absolutely, but it will be sold ouy by tomorrow and then the next batch MUST be made available to everyone.
  24. ever considered that the vast majority of regular `diehard' away fans are also ST holders? I don't know for sure, but I would imagine that of those that have been to 15 away games this season most will actually be ST holders.
  25. cheers chaps. Anyone taken them to an away game? I'm half dreading that last minute McGoldrick winner that keeps us up and sends them down (I predicted this three months ago to annoy my brother in law that comes to Saints games, slates McGoldrick, but is a massive Forest fan) as I'm normally like zeberdee when we score and that could **** my knee up for keeps. What can you do?
