  1. Not really, no. The club made some terrible choices. Jones didn't "run his course" he should have never been given the job. I think the actual point you are striving at is not that Ralph staying means everything fine..... the most likely scenario is in his last season or the next we would still have suffered relegation and therefore he would have been sacked or resigned anyway. We didn't back Ralph and then got back up and didn't back Martin, which is why in March we haven't got to double figures in points, still. There's nothing anywhere to suggest Hasenhuttl would have been given the conditions to succeed when they didn't give those conditions to a SR hand selected manager in Russell Martin. Anyone who truly believes there's and alternative timeline where we don't sack Ralph and magically go from strength to strength to strength up the Premier League is absolutely deluded.

What are you on about. The thing I said would happen is pretty much happening, albeit we sacked Martin far too late - some of us remember your gloating about how great it was that we didn’t sack him after 6 games when as is painfully clear right now that’s precisely what we should have done. i said we’d get a replacement in for Martin, if he’s good he’s the guy for next season if it doesn’t work we bin off and start again for the Championship.

That's right, everyone thinks that a caretaker is going to "turn things round" 🙄 Pretty sure the point is that it is irrelevant whether Juric is here or not now. He's getting paid either way but if he's not actually around to put an attacking midfielder in at CB one more time, it doesn't matter.

Saying "don't wait until the end of the season, get Rohl in now" is not an 'expert view" as the BBC would have it. That would be insane. The next manager needs to feel like a fresh start, pre season training in July and off we go. Absolutely nothing to be gained by coming in now to this shitshow. Don't disagree on Juric feeling like a condemned man for two months, yeah fine, fuck him off now. But a caretaker is absolutely fine until summer.
  6. Trump doesn't want "Peace", he wants Ukraine to lose and Russia to win. Barely even hiding it. The cunts on here cheering him on, that's your guy.

The point is we had all this shite last time - we're going straight through to league one etc etc etc. Next season we will up there challenging top 2 hopefully, in the top 6 mix for sure. We've loaned out players - Armstrong, Charles, Ronnie - that are being hero worshipped at the Championship clubs they've turned up at.

Except we have played Championship teams this season and beaten most of them.

None of which would have joined a Championship club.
  10. I usually like the Sophy Ridge program but I switched over after 90 seconds of that prick. No need for him to get airtime in this country.
  11. And then he used the word "research" for doom scrolling YouTube conspiracy horseshit. Truly, the definition of thick.
  12. Well it's possible that Wolves only get 3 more points but if they do they'll probably be relegated because a collapse that bad would be a huge motivation to Ipswich or Leicester. No one hypothetically stays up by matching what the 18th place team did. HTH

Obvious and Outstanding not quite the same. Alan Ball was obvious and it worked brilliantly but he wasn't outstanding - he was managing Exeter City when he joined us and not that well. Still a genius appointment though. Pardew maybe as good as manager as we could get in L1 and Hoddle definitely was an outstanding candidate. Mark Hughes was obvious in that he's the guy you call when you're desperate and have run out of foreign coaches. We should have got Redknapp from Bournemouth 100%, he could have been a Saints legend and/or bankrupted us or both.

Because it was two and half years ago and we were in the Premier League?

  17. We can, though, have the stocks we have and still be able to take on Russia. Those two concepts can exist simultaneously quite easily.
  18. ......and you're arguing against that based on things said about what we can spare to support defence of against an invasion. A war we aren't "in" and conspicuously not over committing to. We haven't given Ukraine everything we have. Russia are giving everything and have got hardly anywhere. But yeah, we wouldn't stand a chance against the unstoppable Russian war machine.
  19. We haven't actually declared war on Russia - you know that right?
  20. Yeah, I'd put your open top bus parade on hold for now. Danny Rohl has been coaching at the absolute highest level in football while Russell Martin watching his MK Dons dribbling into 13th place in League One.
  21. Happy Birthday CMFG
  22. Doesn't mean anything. You might as well say Plymouth are Premier League champions because they beat Liverpool in the last round.
  23. Quite. And Trump doesn't give a fuck about any of that. He cares about three things 1) Musk's has told him the value of the minerals so he wants to seize that, that will get him money 2) He wants Russia on side because that gets him money and a powerful "friend" to hang around 3) He wants to say "look at me I stopped the war like I said" which gets him glory How any of it is achieved is irrelevant and Ukraine especially is irrelevant. He doesn't give a flying fuck about American people let alone foreigners miles away.
