  1. It's a scientific fact that Emery can only succeed at football clubs with the word "villa" in their name. Everywhere else not so great.
  2. #yachtwatch
  3. We will keep going until the November International break. By the time they get someone new we'll be fucking miles off and as good as down already. The "ha ha ha everyone wrote him off but look he's proved every single one of you wrong" redemption story is not going to happen, lads.
  4. Not even going to play them next season at this rate.
  5. Rodgers is not going to walk out on Celtic again. Not yet, anyway. And not for us. Moyes feels perfectly realistic if we wanted him.
  6. We were playing some nice stuff before their fifth went in. And then half time disrupted our flow a bit.
  7. This line proves the value of "flattering to deceive". We haven't looked like winning any game except Ipswich. We were dreadful against Forest just pissing about waiting for the inevitable goal from them. And not in the game for any of the others - 35 minute spells here and there with no end product doesn't get anyone anywhere. Well, it gets us winless and basically bottom.
  8. A replacement needs 30 games now, not 18 games in December. It's a shame but do it now Saints.
  9. Of all the things to be petulant about, saying "we need to score goals so I put my entire strike force on the bench" is not the clever clever slam-dunk response he thinks it is.
  10. They haven't got much of a front line either.
  11. I mean, hear me out. We could have played an unchanged team.
  12. I could have watched Only Connect.
  13. We've moved from him "sticking rigidly to his principles come what may" to putting the team through a random selection and formation generator and sticking on any old shit out there.
  14. It's OK lads. Right back in the swing of fucking suicide ball.
  15. Bournemouth are not on us like Brentford were.
  16. An actual attacking move. Lovely.
  17. Just an unlucky deflection away from a point or something.
  18. The old “we must be buying and eating more good old British turnips then” fallacy.
  19. Yes, that's right. There was a lot of water under the bridge between Derby's record breaking Prem season and their financial collapse, the two aren't related at all. In between they had loads of boringly stable seasons under managers like Nigel Clough and then multiple nearly-there play off appearances under McClaren and Lampard. It was chasing the dream around here that got them in real trouble, buy this was more than a decade after the Prem season.
  20. Clickbait referencing Football Insider which surely everyone knows by now just guesswork.
  21. If Kier Starmer had done even half the things that Okeshott has done (fabricated the Cameron pigs head thing for money, betrayed Matt Hancock as a source by leaking his entire Covid communications to the press for money, betraying another source to land Vicky Pryce in jail for money, she's closely connected to Ashcroft a tax dodging bullshitter because hes got money, and so on and so on, all for money). If Starmer had done even one of those things then she and Guido and all the rest would frothing about like it was crime of the century. I dont think we need any pearl clutching moralising and smearing from that utter piece of shit. The people she knows have far more secrets and skeletons than Starmer has and she knows it. Personally I think this whole thing is absolutely bullshit and just there to social media ramped up and to seed itself onward. Okeshott saying it on a broadcast channel gives it "legitimacy" that can then be amplified and amplified. Dictionary definition of smear.
  22. In 2023 all three promoted teams stayed up. So an aspiration to achieve that (with an ownership that came in with explicit aims to establish us in this division) feels like something SFC should be going for as it is achievable and has been achieved, 2023 was last year. And I am sure that as the season goes on, they will act to try and deliver that.
  23. Sorry I read it as 1988. You are saying that clubs stay up because other clubs fuck up, which is not the blistering hot take you think it is.
  24. So it happened for the first time in 35 years and now it is going to happen every season forever now. Clear.
  25. But the season all three stayed up they would have been up against an entire league of teams with multiple years of Premier League funds. So no, I don't get your point.
