  1. Good luck for anyone coming up with even a quarter decent song where Font rhymes with something...
  2. "well,, Jim". Its all oh so friendly with the kindly tame SSN journo and his pre-agreed questions. All a bit pointless
  3. this. it is cringeworthy, now that commentators are using the correct version, that we still sing this particular song knowing we are getting his name wrong
  4. Who says we don't have anyone lined up? Because its not widely reported in the media?
  5. Window is not shut yet. Just saying
  6. Source?
  7. In 20 years....we may have signed someone in the January window. Then I may have a view
  8. Goal against Utd main memory. Good guy, hope he gets on well
  9. Zero chance of this happening in this market. SFC would have to pay = will not happen
  10. Yep. Defo red card - think of a foul on the pitch, when the player who fouled goes down and prevents a quick free kick etc. Even the slightest kick at that player by the guy who was fouled would be a red. But no extra suspension in this case. Pretty sure the Dad was embarrassed too, hence the rapid apology
  11. I think we have done pretty well, but you can't seem to make to up your mind if its not good enough, or not too bad
  12. Yep agreed. Just wish we had someone in his team who had experience of English football / transfers / contacts. Oh silly me I forgot about Sir Les!
  13. But you agree, concluding 38 is what we were due to finish on was wrong then
  14. Oh oh. Someone tell MP
  15. But equally you can't just say 22 points from 22 games means we are going to finish on 38. This ignores the last 11 games record, which just happened to coincide with some new players bedding in and some learning on the part of both existing players and management. I did not know, until the OP made it clear, that learning and improving was such a crime
  16. I am getting this agent next time I sell my house
  17. Tosh. Go work for the Daily Mail
  18. Sensible wages methinks
  19. Spider has been here long enough to see new managers come and go more often than Alps posts something negative, so I am not really surprised he is not too troubled by the change
  20. You were right. I have already apologised for being wrong.
  21. "If you truly believe that at the moment is one of the worst periods in the history of our club". When did I say or even suggest this? "Why will the 'proper, loyal football fans' drift away? Surely if they are proper and loyal they'll stick with the club throughout?". There you go You refuse to understand that a fan can be a good, long serving, loyal fan and then start to question all of the points raised on here. From there, some are concluding they are going to stop attending. You carry on provoking though
  22. Trolling again. I have never said I believe any such thing. What did I make up, exactly?
  23. Nail on head, top post. It is much, much more than just ticket prices (but a debate on the increasing cost is understandable) and it has nothing to do with who is the best fan or not, despite the provocation of trolls on here
  24. I hope someone has taken away all their texts or pics from NA and / or threatened to boot them off the plane if not
  25. Lucky for me I have been in meetings but the simple fact is that some (*for DPS' sake, not all) people who have been very loyal, through good times and bad times, are increasingly (*for DPS' sake, that means it is happening more, over time, not necessarily right now) fed up with a number of things about the club, most of which show that they, the decent fans, count for sod all. These points, combined with the ticket prices, mean that some (*for DPS' sake, not all) are starting to say I am not going any more. If not being prepared to blindly accept whatever is asked of them / dictated to them means they are not loyal, then they are not loyal (any longer). Some of the resulting gaps (*for DPS' sake, only some) are taken up by more people who are happy to accept whatever the club does, and don't wish to question anything. Some (* you should know by now) of these same people will pay ever higher prices, sit down when they are told to (and where) not sing, and happily accept the performances and results that the team generates. They don't leap about too much when we win, but the really great upside for them is that don't get upset if we lose. Or play badly. Or ignore the fans. Perfect fans for our club then, we will all agree.
