  1. Me too. More than a handful

You disputed the above. It says gradually, slowly....fans will drift away. No one said that all loyal fans cant afford to go
  3. How does good loyalty overcome not being able to afford tickets?
  4. How about ticket prices, mad policy decisions, dictatorial regimes, big corporate ownership, tv is the pied piper, weird scheduling, booking fees. All can be summarised as - supporters matter less and less, we can ignore you, if you don't like it, plenty of others without any independent thoughts will take your place and will be happy IMO
  5. Simply to soon to say what, if any, difference there will be.
  6. Cortese can do what he wants, there is no point in any protest. Or discussion even.
  7. Well said. Indefensible, but some "oh please just get over it, he can do what he wants" types will still try
  8. How long before he starts to threaten to throw out anyone singing the One NA song?
  9. We were absolutely buzzing after the Chelsea game and Villa win, both away of course, but strangely subdued here now. Wonder why
  10. Thanks for your deep, experienced, ability to join the ranks of those telling us how we should all feel. Excuse me if I don't take any notice of your instruction. I will avoid the urge to tell you what you should do.
  11. I still have my SISA membership card. I last looked at it in 1994. Where are my membership benefits FFS?
  12. To be fair, who else would they go to for a fans view? I dont think anyone on here has volunteered to speak to the media?
  13. Something that any individual fan dislikes? How far from reality are you?
  14. [quote=tajjuk;1596044 Cortese has in no way done anything to suggest he will change our kit or move the club, pretty much every decision he has made has turned out to be sensible and progressed the club. Gee thanks for clearing that up. Where did I say he had? I was responded to the muppets who say there is no right to protest / no point in protests, because NC is in charge and he acts for the owners.
  15. If only you had read a few lines before posting. No one believes he will change his mind. I am repeating an earlier post, but: "if NC wants to change the home kit to Pompey Blue, or move us to Belfast, all because he thinks that's best for the owners, would we roll over and say "fair enough, it's your / the owners club, any protest would not make a difference"? Yes changing managers is much more "normal course of business" but to say we have no right to protest or make our feelings known is, well, wrong" It's about sending a message that we care, we were here long before you, and will be after you have gone, so ignore us at your peril. It's not about hating the new manager, or derailing the team. We are all fans so can work out how not to harm the team, thanks. You go ahead and roll over if you want though
  16. Two simple incorrect statements. The 2nd one being partially wrong
  17. And again, virtually no one is suggesting that protesting will achieve change (at least not in the short term). There are other reasons to protest, well articulated on here at length
  18. No one (well, virtually no one at least) is suggesting doing that. We are all fans
  19. Well done on finding a few to support your argument. The great majority are hacked off with NC. Nothing more than that and we dont suddenly want the team to do badly. You feel free to roll over and take it if you wish
  20. Depends on what you call "worked". It has made it clear to most other fans that large numbers of Utd fans do not agree with what has happened there and would welcome a change
  21. Oh FFS. Please read these threads and try to understand no one is proposing to abuse the new man or the team. Think again
  22. This is crazy. We were a premiership team for decades under most of the others in this table. The whole squad was a premiership squad. Do I really need to state Le Tiss, Svensson x 2, Shearer, Beattie, Pahars, Niemi, Flowers, Wallace x 2(3), Bridge etc etc? We are still carrying League 1 and Championship players now. This comparison is nuts
  23. This. If NC wants to change the home kit to Pompey Blue, or move us to Belfast, all because he thinks that's best for the owners, would we roll over and say "fair enough, it's your / the owners club, any protest would not make a difference"? Yes changing managers is much more "normal course of business" but to say we have no right to protest or make our feelings known is, well, wrong
  24. Nonsense. At the very least I am a customer (emotionally I am much more than that of course ) and customers have every right to complain if the entity to which they pay good money does something they thoroughly dislike. Don't tell me how I should feel, thanks
  25. Happy to hear ideas for how best to do this while not screwing up the team BTW. I see some are on here
