  1. Whilst sat on the bench, having travelled 300 miles from his former club who are top of the league, playing lovely free flowing football where he enjoyed getting assists and goals, to come and wallow in lower Championship obscurity and get bored to death with us. And he'll even get to watch his mates play in the PL next season, he must be well happy! 🙂
  2. It's got to be this really, although Jelert in for Mads would be ok and maybe even Armstrong for Archer (they're both as ineffective as each other in my eyes). Get balls played through on the floor to the striker instead of lobbing crosses in to nobody, get Fellows and Scienza running at full backs and cutting in, and just generally get Bristol defenders running back towards their own goal. We need to be quicker, more decisive and more positive. It won't happen of course. And people saying we had loads of chances against Swansea....ok, the stats say we had plenty of 'shots' but the only real clear cut chance in my opinion was the Armstrong/Jander one in the second half. The others were half chances at best resulting in pass backs to their goalkeeper most of the time as they were either rushed efforts or from a shit position, and this all boils down to our ponderous build up and system of play, because by the time we get a shot away the other team have about 25 (feels like) players behind the ball!
  3. Really good solid performance out there today boys. Did so well to nullify such a potent attacking Swansea side. Our attacking quality really shone through at times enabling us to get some shots on goal, hitting the post twice was a joy to behold, wonderous stuff. The substitutions were again excellent, playing with 7 midfielders towards the end was tactically very astute, and the passing around in our own defensive third in the last few minutes stoppage time was so calm and silky, brilliant stuff just to see out the game and retain that clean sheet. Got to be pleased with that big point, if we keep doing what we're doing we'll only get better and better and be knocking on the door of the play-offs and autos in no time! The atmosphere sounded absolutely buzzing too. Great job everyone! #deludedcrew
  4. I'm about as enthusiastic for this game as Still is in his press conference. Apathy FC. Sell up SR or at least get some people in to run it who know about football and aren't cunts.

    Will Still

I'm not sure if you've realised, to be fair quite a few still haven't, but we aren't getting promoted this season. It's been quite clear since a couplenof games in. And it still is despite our 'good' transfer window as we are a complete shambles. As said above, can't believe more frustration isn't being aimed at the owners/board/jokers running the shitshow.
  6. Why do we do this??? Is it because we're so surprised at scoring our brains shit themselves??! Need to get second and third goals otherwise it's going to be tense
  7. Well fuck me sideways. Following it on here it seemed like we were doing everything in our power to throw it away! What is our problem?? Apart from being so shit!
  8. Is this on Sky? I've read it is but can't find it on the Sky app at all.
  9. Agreed that mid-table is the best we're going to achieve this season, but we do need to start winning, especially against those below and around us so that we can build a bit of positivity and momentum for next year. Otherwise we'll be in a relegation battle..... Good to see a number of our 'rejects' smashing it for their respective clubs!

  11. McCarthy Edwards Wood Quarshie Jelert Downes Jander Manning Azaz Armstrong Stewart 3 CBs as they played well the other night. If Jander isn't fit, swap with Charles. With the 2 up front it gives us the option to put balls through for Armstrong or cross them in for Stewart who I think needs a run.
  12. Never want to see this guy in a Saints squad ever again. Absolute fucking fraud, how he has become a professional player to this level is beyond me. Give me Ali Dia over him any day! At least he could run.
  13. I know it's early, but fuck me, are we ok??!
  14. Mediocrity would be lovely right now! Re Jack, I don't mind the guy. Saw him in M&S about 8 years ago. I'd happily have him in the Monday night 5-a-side team. Maybe not so much in the Saints team.
  15. Most of which shouldn't have been here in the first place but were unfortunately here due to the ineptitude of the idiots running us.
  16. There's no point replacing Still. Although he is shite, the players are also shite as are the coaching staff, the backroom staff, the clowns running the show, all shite! Us fans also need to take a bit of responsibility as we just sit back and accept it. A top to bottom clear out job is what is needed to help us in the long term, and this may well happen when we're in League 1.

    Sport Republic

I was going to say the same. People just need to not go to games! Not difficult! Who wants to watch this shit anyway?! No doubt 20 odd thousand lemmings will continue to go and clap this bunch of shysters putting in meek, under-par performances and absolutely nothing will change.
  18. My 1-0 loss prediction was a little optimistic it seems. To some on here this game will just be a little bump in the road, "the manager needs time", "the players need time", "we've got an amazing squad blah blah blah". No. The club is a shambolic shower of shit and rotten to the core. Has been for ages. We are only going one way. At least maybe when we're in League 1, whether that's next season or the season after, we might get our own Netflix series. To show what a failure a club can become despite spending hundreds of millions of pounds! Although we'd probably fuck that up as well and it would completely flop! Maybe the more positive/in denial/deluded lot will start to wake up and realise just how much of a cluster this club is now.......
  19. Come on guys......it's JANDER not Janger. And AZAZ not Aziz. It's not difficult. Prediction - 1-0 Hull.
  20. I think in the last episode of Welcome to Wrexham, the team had a bit of a pep-talk from Rob Mcelhenney who told them a tale of a well known sportsman who had been given advice to go out and play the game like when you were a nipper and just to enjoy it. Whether it was a coincidence or not, they went out and won 3-0. Saints have been stifled by shit tactics for several years now. It is so tedious! Watching MOTD you can see how far we have fallen in how we play compared to the likes of Bournemouth, Sunderland etc. We are so slow and lethargic whereas they are sharp, aggressive and often on the front foot. Even Champ clubs like Coventry, Leicester, Boro seem so much more fluid and faster than us.
  21. We need to grow some bollocks! No pressing, no aggression, no quality or creativity, losing every 50/50. Fucking shambles!
  22. No, a back 3 tomorrow is in no way defendable.
  23. What a load of old waffle AI is! The hangover from last season clearly isn't short lived. Anywhere between 7th-15th. Top half would be nice, although don't really mind as long as we beat Pompey.
  24. No. Just how I see it. We've been atrocious so far and I know it's very early days but the hangover is still there from last season and it's going to need more than a couple of paracetamol to lift it. We all obviously want the new players to come good, but there's no guarantee. It's not as if we haven't been known to make good players seem very average in the past..... I would obviously love it if we do make the play-offs or better and if that happens I will come back and quote myself admitting I was wrong. But that is going to need a serious turnaround with consistent performances and results, which I just can't see at the moment.
  25. 6/10. Too many weaknesses still. Can't see us achieving anything more than mid-table (maybe upper mid-table now if the additions are any good, as opposed to lower mid-table which I was predicting a few days ago).
