This could end up being truly horrible.
-
What did the poor U21s do to deserve him?
-
100%. It basically ended two months after it started, which is fucking depressing.
-
Absolute pish, what a bunch of losers.
-
What we give with one hand, we take with many others.
-
Sounds so easy! 😃
-
Derby fans everywhere be sweating right now...
-
Bloody prolific is Taul Paul, two goals in three games (and two years)!
-
Surely even we can manage at least a point now!?
-
YEEEEEESSSSS! TP!

Very good! 😄 I was thinking earlier how utterly awful the end of season 'lap of appreciation' would be like (the one two seasons ago was really bad), but this is a very nice scenario. Alternatively, it doesn't happen, we get the unwanted record and the club provide us with rotten fruit to pelt them with.

Both injury time goals in the 9-0s were proper kicks in the nuts.
-
Maybe for the rest of the season we could put on a historic match against the same opposition and just comment on that instead? It's Ipswich next, so we could maybe watch the 1-3 win in 2001/2 when Chris Marsden scored that Messi-like goal?

That will be a fun one, when they come here in a few weeks and completely destroy us.
-
Agreed, and make the lines thicker so any ambiguity is eliminated.

Saints 1, Newcastle 2, VAR 2
-
But we can still have Saints crest on the pies right?
-
And to think we still have 14 more matches to go...
-
We are utter trash.
-
When can't this season just fuck off and die.
-
What's the opposite of the invincible? I suppose we should be glad that we've at least won a game this season to avoid such a fate.
-
Newcastle beat Sheffield United 8-0 away last season I think, so wonder if they can surpass that. This is hopefully the bit where we now win and I look stupid (please!).
-
Forever in their shadow if I recall correctly?

I've always said that being a Saints fan is a really great way to appreciate at an early stage that life is rarely easy and often full of disappointment. I genuinely think this helped prepare me for my journey into adulthood and the many challenges that have followed.
