Ipswich winning I see. Still if we beat them and they slip up we could catch them, but they beat us on GD. I still think Millwall will win their last 2 and will be ready for the Ipswich slip, nothing we can do about Millwall if they keep going!

They beat us it would be terrible. I watch the documentary, but still behind, as they are just getting promoted to the Championship. I am hoping that they miss out, but I think Hull have lost it!

I hope we stay where we are in 4th, as it looks like we will be playing Boro, presuming they will beat Wednesday tonight. This will mean an away leg on a Saturday lunchtime at Boro. Home leg following Monday. If we get to the final I think it will be Millwall or Ipswich. Hoping Millwall. On Facebook there are lots of ex players on Saints Archive group. Also make contact with The Total Saints Podcast, where a certain owner of this forum is involved with.

I like this about him (until he gets sent off). I love the way the team have a bit of fight and grit, it was missing for a good few years when we were, lets face it powder puff!

We have drawn with some dross though. WBA, Charlton and the Skates! Those extra 2 at home to Charlton and 2 at Farton, would have been massive… but swings and roundabouts with late goals to win games.

So many bed wetters on here. A slightly off 45 minutes and 0-1 down at half time and the majority are throwing their toys out the pram. Get a grip lads! It is likely to be the playoffs and I am still trying to work out how we got this high up the table. Try and enjoy it everyone, it does not get much better… but it could! 🙌

I would love to go to this game but cannot justify it, as I will go to the playoff semi away leg and Wembley if we get to the playoff final. The expensive in one month would be far too much. In the unlikely event of us reaching the final, I will go to that as well. Could rack up some serious petrol money!

No was all competition! Lost to Bristol City. I thought we lost at Anfield before Bristol City.

Was this not just league games? No it was not just checked. I thought we lost to Bristol City after going out the league cup to Liverpool.

Shoot, I forgot about Millwall!

We really could do this, but can only think of the last time we were in this situation and we played them… was bad home and especially away!

Well 2nd is highly unlikely. We could have done with a favour from Norwich today. Realistically we will need the skates to get something at home to Ipswich and then Boro to get something at Ipswich. We will then need to beat Ipswich and probably win our remaining games. While not impossible this is highly unlikely.

Win Tuesday and we are in the playoffs. I think we are pretty much there, just what the positions are? Would prefer Boro or Hull so I can go to the away leg. Can see us finishing 3rd.

Not true. Wrexham are one of the most physical sides. The championship is very physical overall. We would not be on a run like this if we did struggle.

Win this and Derby are not catching us. Should be a 2/3-0 win. We will see.

Wow, just wow. I am still finding this hard to believe, but we are pretty good at this football now! Looking forward to the rest of the season… shame it is nearly all over!

I know I have sure we would lose to Arsenal, but surely the luck (not that it was luck), but at Wembley surely we cannot beat Man City? If we do there is not any reason why we cannot win the thing! I still think we are a couple of bad results on missing out on the playoffs, and let’s face it we are quite capable of going on a bad run at completely the wrong time! Tonight for example would be a really bad time to lose, because of who it is against. Win tonight and I will be completely sure that at least 6th will be where we finish, but a lot hinges on this result. If we make the playoffs I think we will get to the final, and then just toss of a coin final for the ‘big’ time.

Funny you should say this, but they do engineer the microphones for the drama in a game. I’m sure they were fully up to build the excitement at the end. It does not reflect the noise in the ground, the can muffle sound and even block it out in the case of swearing in sounds. So you never get the proper atmosphere on the tv ever. I had a friend who worked in this area I think for the BBC.
