  1. Would be interested to see a poll on here for and against it. I think it would be high percentage against it. We need to be able to celebrate a goal knowing (after a quick nervous look over to the lino) it is a goal.
  2. I think there will be fewer than 14 clubs that vote to see the back of it. It is just something they can do and then turn around to the fans and say ‘well we put it to the vote and clubs wanted to keep it’. 🤷🏽 Now ask the supporters, I dare them to do a poll on the fans view on VAR or the way VAR is being used, and I am sure it would be up in the 90%’s to get rid of it.
  3. We had players out wide, but they seemed to be used a a decoy, especially in the first half. The option was always there but they were obviously under instruction to play narrow and through the middle. In the end WBA left they out wide and we still did not use them. Mainly this was Manning in acres. When we did bring Fraser on our threat going forward was reseeding more than my hairline as it was clear we were happy with the 0-0, so Fraser was not in the game much.
  4. Don’t know where this came from, might have been here. Probably fake as looks like our shirt from the JPT final.
  5. Really, I’m not surprised, this is Saintsweb. It’s weird because the feeling in here is always opposite to those in the stands at the games I go too. It’s funny in here how negative it is.
  6. I did and another family member has taken it. 😊
  7. Cannot wait for this one. Brushed off the retro top for the Hawthorns on Sunday.
  8. Norwich or WBA will go up I think. Seems us and Leeds cannot stomach it!
  9. Much will depend on tonight’s game I think. Cov or Hull might have nothing to play for, and I would fancy Ipswich if this is the case.
  10. We are quite good really, but very inconsistent and lightweight. We should also be taking this season to the wire with Leeds and Leicester. Ipswich are surprise package really. But Leeds fans will also be pretty livid if they do not go up in the automatic places. It’s out of their hands still.
  11. Yep lap of ‘honour’. Could be nasty, but let’s hope not, save that for when we lose the playoff after rolling over and having our tummy rubbed.
  12. I have to say I am more interested in the other leagues games as it is the final day, or I might pop along to watch Annan and their great escape (from a relegation playoff).
  13. The list of these clubs go on and on. You have to throw caution to the wind when in the position we have found ourselves in this season. It seems like Leicester and Leeds will do this as Burnley did the season before. Or you will end up like loads of other ex premier league teams in the championship and worse. Blackburn, Stoke, Boro, Sunderland, Swansea, Watford, Hull, Birmingham, Huddersfield… You can only hope if we do not magically go up in the playoffs we end up more like the Norwich and WBA of the world and manage to hang around the play off places. But this season was always going to be the best chance we have/had.
  14. Draw a line under this one, and it is hopefully the kick up the arse needed. As this place melts down, I’m off. See you all on Saturday.
  15. Bloody Leicester.
  16. But we can lose one of them and win the other, and still go through.

My favourite player and will be a huge miss. Blew a little more hot and cold this season, but love his serging runs. Perhaps he will sign, but I doubt it as him and Che have let their contracts run out, I can only presume to see if they can get a better offer. All the best to him, and I hope he gets to play in the euros. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
  18. Seems to have a problem getting the balance right. Tried to address it at Blackburn and that was as dull game that we have had this season. I think considering he still has not worked it out, our best bet is to try and out score the opposition and not shut up shop… because we cannot.
  19. Would be nice to beat them, but do not think we will.
  20. STOP making changes for the sake of making changes. That’s that now let’s get ready for the playoffs and keep everything crossed. 🤞
  21. Rather than the goals he has conceded, how about the saves he has made and get the applause out of the way in the 1st minute.
  22. Baz scores the late leveller at Preston and a snipper takes him out from the away end at SMS last night.
  23. Must be on the same deal as Jack then, he gets his balloon payment last night though, for not being shoehorned into what would be a balanced team!
  24. I liked the look of Lumley at Anfield, well not the picking the ball out the net 3 times, but his overall play.
  25. I was thinking the Blackburn game did not matter, so I was not bothered about the result as it was all about the playoffs. 🙄
