    PROTEST

After watching that 2nd half today full of cold, having a chesty cough, feeling like shite and freezing my nuts off, something has to happen. The club are getting everything wrong time and time again. We are a broken club, we are not the only broken club because of owners, but we the fans are the ones who are suffering when we should be challenging for promotion. I have no fight in me and could not even get upset. Was happy to leave on 76 minutes when the 4th went in, so I could get back to Carlisle for a Chinese takeaway and to salvage something with what apart from the football was a great day with the boy!

    PROTEST

Bit far, but will shout to get Carlisle back in the league
  3. I’m hoping it is called off I am full of cold with a bad chesty cough! 😷 so it will be on! Heading off 11:30!
  4. Around to the main entrance after the game, and protest. That work in the Branfoot days. It got out of hand as well, that’s for sure. We (not just us, but football fans in general) have forgotten how to protest. We lose, we boo and we go home and complain on forums and social media.
  5. Looking cold at the moment.
  6. He will not come back. Think his wages will make it impossible for both parties. Got to be waiting for a premier league offer surely?
  7. How does JWP not get anywhere near this team?
  8. Snowing heavily in the Boro at the moment. Not that I think it will continue.
  9. Yes it is a beautiful drive for the scenery across the A66. Hopefully the barrier stays open, or it will be across to Newcastle and down. Will be worth it for a day with my boy. 😊
  10. In hindsight no, at the time yes, we were flying. Should have kept him caretaker until the end of the season then not take him on, rather than sacking him at the end of the season.
  11. So how long are our goalkeeper medicals these days?
  12. I’m fecking going to this and Donny in the cup! I thought we were going to be flying up the league when I ordered the tickets, not turn into limp dicks again! At least it is only an hour and a half away!
  13. New Year… Same old shite!
  14. Think we will win this game, but that could be the bottle of red wine and the half bottle of Red Leg rum I have drank this evening. Their away form is pretty hit and miss, losing at the skates, drawing at Oxford and beating Bristol City away. I think the championship is random. I think if we have the balls to play an open attacking game we will win 3-1.
  15. Yeah they have only lost once in the league at home this season, but they have drawn a few of late, hammered the skates and Millwall at home. One of my best friends in a blue nose, and he is right down in the dumps at the moment. We are good at picking teams up though!
  16. We will lose.
  17. Leaning to much towards possession game. Need to go back to the play that landed him the position permanent manager and that is impact counter attack, which suits our players. Attack and fast and ruthless. Not tappy tappy possession football. We have seen this all before.
  18. Draw I think, and going to Brum who are good at home. It might be a Christmas period of very low joy!
  19. Half time it was a game we were going to lose. Saved by the sending off, and feel we should have taken all 3. Good point, but we seem to have lost our ruthlessness from a few weeks ago. Need to go to Oxford and dismantle them!
  20. Here are my thoughts, we have not played like we have against other teams in the first half. Is this too much respect or Coventry are just the better team. This only spells disaster for me being 0-1 down at the break, when we are normally 2 to the good. I am changing my stance on the game, even though it will be interesting as we have to come out and have a go in the 2nd half which we have not had to do under Tonga. Saying this, with the evidence of our inept second half performances thus far I can only see this being 0-3 or worse. We might nick one. Merry Christmas everyone!
  21. I have a feeling we are going to win. 3-1.
  22. Play off final for me. Never known anything like it as a Saints fan, and was there with my 12 year old son! A little too young for the 76 cup final, but was born.
  23. Moved from Southampton to Royston in 2006. It is where my wife grew up. Went to Garden Walk many times to watch the Crows. They have a great set up, but the men’s team are struggling this season. My boy is from there and looks out for their results, and has a Royston Town top.
