Sod this, Hoddle was an excellent manager for us. No matter what you say about him. Was it not 6 clean sheets in a row or something? No matter who the teams we are playing, I do not think we have managed a run like that in any league, let alone in the top flight. Now we have surpassed what he achieved though. Most Saints fans are bitter that he walked out, but I wanted him back for the second coming. He has been out of management far to long now to return, he would be a huge punt for someone. Saying this one of my all time favourite games was beating Spurs at the lane and pretty much sealing his fate, for the sack! Good times with him in charge and against him with karma!

Correct me if I am wrong, but we have won at Anfield and drawn at old Trafford? We will get 11 points between now and Christmas.

You see this is my thinking and it is taking one game at a time. I would love to hit the sumit, just the once! How would that feel, even if it was just for one week, after 12 games of the season! I cannot help but think, we should have done much better against West Ham and Sunderland at home, and even Stoke and Norwich away. We could have been top now. I for one am enjoying the moment as the likelihood is that we will be moving down the table, but top 7 is defiantly possible.

Would love to go a step further than WBA did yesterday and end the home record for the special one! Would prefer it to be Chelsea next then Arsenal as Chelsea are off the boil at the moment. I think we will be squeezed out of it by Arsenal but we will beat Chelsea.

Yes still think it is a shame that we did not win both league 1 and the Championship, but I can live with that at the momenent. It is just an amazing story of how far we have come as a club. It is not something that happens to often in football and not to my team.

As I am up in Carlisle this weekend, I though it was strange when I checked the scores for 3 years ago. 3 years ago this weekend, we had just lost 3-2 at Carlisle in a game I attended. That evening we were 10th in league 1 and we were 10 points from top team Brighton, while Carlisle were 4th. I think it was at this point the season started to take off in the next run of games, that of course led to our promotion. Now of course we sit 3rd in the premier league. What an amazing achievement this has been and what a journey. I do think this time last season we would be back in the Championship this season, but things have just got better and better. I have enjoyed every momenent of this fairytale journey, long may it continue!

Come on Saints last 5 give it all!

Just watching match of the day and it seems that Gus teams are under instruction to get stuck in and be evil. Gus you could probably get away with this in the championship but not in the premier league. Dirty unhand is the way he manages! Better watch our players legs mid week!

Also we gave the ball away very fast and cheaply at the kick off!
