Who knows, we will not know until next season, and will never know if we are good enough next season with th current team if we change it! I think this team next season would do better than this season, as they are young, and had a season in the premier league. I also think there will be many teams worse than us. Of course we will spend, but even this does not mean it will improve the 'team'. We could sight 3/4/5 top class players and still struggle. That is football. We did not change much over the course of the season, but we improved, gained experience and learnt quickly, and at times look a very handy side.

Would love - 6th (or higher), but this is realistic Head says - 8th-10th Ask me again after our dealings in the summer. Then ask me again in October/November/December, and then ever bloody week during the last half of the season, and then we can start the nonsense all over again this time next year! To be honest I still do not know where we are going to finish this season 17th or 10th! But I think 12th-14th. But please do ask me at half time next weekend.

As strikers lose pace and move into the twilight of their career, they tend to play in the hole a bit more. Lets face it, with lambert it is not all about the finishing, his all round play is premier league. I hear he had a great game today?

As a whole, since the win at Reading, our whole attacking cutting edge as been on the beach. This is up to the coaching and management to keep it going. We have been playing ok, and take a look at the stats of our game again today, we look the better team. We have more than shown what we can do, and sir lambert still has a huge future with us, for at least a couple of seasons.

I thought we were screwed after 10 games, no way we would survive in the premier league, but we have been safe since the Reading game. We have stumbled, but apart from the WBA game the defence has not been the problem, and it has not been for a very long time! So proud to be a Saints fan, and this season has exceeded my expectations. 2013/14 we will be a premier league team, and after all that 38 points would have been enough

I want Sunderland to go down. Brighton to go up. I have a feeling it will be Watford v Palace though, as old holloway made a complete knob of himself slating Watford. So Watford to beat palace would be great! Next season, I really want WBA to go down, and Adkins to return reading to the top flight.

We WILL be better, give it time.

We can, but we will have to lose 12-0 next weekend, and Sunderland, and Fulham would have to win.... Oh and Wigan! So yes we are safe! We will be safe on Tuesday as will everyone else, as Wigan will be relegated.

Hope Wigan do get something on Tuesday. But fear it will be all over for the cup winners on Tuesday night. Nick a point and take it to the last day Back in October we were going down, who would have thought we would be preparing for another season in the premier league.
