Oh and on another point, I thought Lallana was pretty below par January to August 2013. The short memories of Saints fans again. If anything I would say Morgan has been better than Lallana over the whole of 2013?
-
I would say he is back to the player he was 5/6 years ago this season. Class player, streamline and one of the best English midfielders not just this season but over the last 10 years +. He would get my vote, as I take my saints tinted sunglasses off.
-
Cannot seen to see where to vote, which is probably for the best. Lol
-
Gerrard, is a class player and better than ever this season!
-
I do jot understand why they are such a big thing!
-
Quite right, get the next couple of games out the way and the rest of the season looks quite good. Saying that we lost at home to Villa then turn Cardiff over away.., so who really knows?
-
We need to hang in there and February and March we can really push for top 6!
-
We have a terrible record against Everton, but loved the 0-2 win in the late 90's when KD scored a wonder goal. I feel they will be back on track with a home win. :-(
-
Great result! Bottom 3 all winning!
-
Cannot believe Everton are losing to Sunderland, even if it is against 10 men.
-
Would like a 0-5 away win here, but a win is a win.
-
Malky Mackay will be sacked!
-
People are joking, but if we lose to Cardiff, Everton, Chelsea and WBA, I think he will be gone! Then there is Sunderland and if still here then and we do not win, it will be the final nail. Football is crazy, but that would be a terrible run of results, that are possible, but I do not expect to happen.

Fantastic last few years to be a Saints fan. Apart from the last few weeks. But still hopefully that it will get back on track. Looking forward to the next few years as the best is still to come.

Cardiff (A) 1-1 Everton (A) 3-0 Chelsea (H) 1-2 Burnley (H)* 3-1 WBA (H) 2-0 Sunderland (A) 1-1 Arsenal (H) 1-2 Just the 4 points for me with the current team. Cardiff (A) 1-1 Everton (A) 3-0 Chelsea (H) 2-2 Burnley (H)* 3-0 WBA (H) 3-0 Sunderland (A) 1-2 Arsenal (H) 2-2 9 points if players start returning in the new year.

I really cannot see what the issue is. We are heading in the right direction (not talking current form) in general. We have injuries a plenty to key players, which any team between 4- to bottom would suffer. Everton have the same kind of squad, if they get a few key injuries they will notice it. It is always the same people, just waiting for a slight slip in form and they come moaning on here about the club. I am sick of you guys. Why can you not just see that we have come a long way on and off the field. A few injuries return and so will be back to winning ways. Merry Christmas. Love you all (well nearly all, some of you are completely nuts).

We need a win and need it fast, but feel we will 'nick'a draw.

It is so funny, it hurts!

We will lose now, I hate there skate, stand in manager and he would just love to beat us!

Anyone taken their kids out of term time since the new law?
Dr Who? replied to Tractor_Saint's topic in The Lounge
You just need to make it 'educational'. My wife is a teacher and we have taken our kids out of school. One for a German twin towning in Germany, where she went to Germany to stay with a family. The other one was a trip to holland, and we said she would be going to Anne frank house and other places for educational value. All was fine. -
Great player, fond memories of his playing time here.
-
I cannot think of one. I think there has been a few that have not crossed the line and have been reviewed, but the officials were correct, as the ball had not crossed the line. There has not been any referred and a goal given, because the officials were wrong.

Saints players to make the England world cup squad
Dr Who? replied to stockbridge_saint's topic in The Saints
Lallana will go if not injured. Not sure about the other 2, but expect jrod to go more than lambert. Shame! -
He needs the supply and yesterday's game was crying out for someone to create for him. That person then came on, but for him. I think he is a great player, but and forward without supply gets lost in a game. The same happened to van Persie in the game against Newcastle coming back to get the ball in the right back position, last week and he is the best around.
