  1. We have some depth but would be in the bottom 3 with our second string without a doubt.

Did he sleep with one of the players wives?

  6. Queens of the Stone Age
  7. Well we are one step closer. Not an animal related team today though
  8. So it is here, I have to admit, it used to be a little more exciting on FA Cup 3rd round day, but still looking forward to it. I have my bets on as per normal, the bankers and I fancy a few upsets, which I am not confident enough to bet on though, but fancy them to get a win or a draw. I have the below for winners on my 'banker' Villa Bournemouth Everton (finalists) Huddersfield Ipswich Wigan Hull Leeds But quite fancy upsets in one or some of the below, including grabbing a replay! Grimsby Kidderminster Macclesfield Southend Spurs Here are the fixtures, how do you see it? Blackburn V Man City 12:45 - away Aston Villa V Sheff Utd - Home Barnsley V Coventry - Draw Bolton V Blackpool - Home Bournemouth V Burton - Home Brighton V Reading - Draw Bristol City V Watford - Away Charlton P-P Oxford Utd - Doncaster V Stevenage - Home Everton V QPR - Home Grimsby V Huddersfield - Draw Ipswich V Preston - Home Kidderminster V Peterborough - Draw Macclesfield V Sheff Wed - Home Middlesbrough V Hull - Away Newcastle V Cardiff - Home Norwich V Fulham - Draw Rochdale V Leeds - Away Southampton V Burnley - Home - Burnley might grab a draw. Southend V Millwall - Home Stoke V Leicester - Away West Brom V Crystal Palace - Draw Wigan V MK Dons - Home Yeovil Vs Leyton Orient - Home Arsenal V Tottenham 17:15 - Away Would love to play a non-league club in the next round Macclesfield, Grimsby, Kidderminster..... What do you think about this weekends games?
  9. I think it is good that Cork has got some game time. I also hope that he is back soon, but this is why we have a squad, even though it is thin on the ground. In this position not bad back up really. Just like when Shaw gets injured.... oh hold on!
  10. Shame, but I think injuries will be the end of him.
  11. Dr Who?

    Well

Hoping for a goal keeper and a world class striker! I think we will get a goalkeeper.
  12. Why are you doing this to us.... 60 omg!
  13. Arctic monkeys on a loop, bloody good album.
  14. Nothing works. I sometimes win on sky bet!
  15. Go 9ers!
  16. Still might get reading up I suppose the fluky gits! But just cannot see a premier league club taking a gamble. Like you say he can get clubs up quite well and that is his best bet of getting a crack at the premier league, but most managers do not get long to prove they have what it takes. Palace, Cardiff, saints last season, reading last season..... I would like to see him with a club like WBA to see what he is made of, for this season and next, as they will stay up.
  17. Right I'm off to bed!
  18. I do not think it is the same. He knew about bringing a lower league size up and to land a job with a league 1 team like Southampton with the ambition and the set up would have been amazing. With Reading it is a team that were relegated from the premier league, which they got into out of nowhere. Now they are not good enough and the place does not have the same buzz as it had at here. The bandwagon just kept rolling! I thought the Wolves job would have suited him and I think he would have had the same buzz and set up that he had here. But becoming a manager of a team that was in the premier league get relegated, the fans expect you to go straight back up, whoever you are. If you do not you can only lose.
  19. Which one of the films are you saying the UK produce. From Soup to Nuts, a 1928 short comedy film starring Laurel and Hardy as butlers hired for a high society dinner party Soup to Nuts, a 1930 feature film starring the trio who later became the Three Stooges
  20. It has come a good 15 years after I stopped smoking it on a daily basis. Then 9 years ago I gave smoking all together and have not smoked a joint or a cigarette since. I get the urge to smoke it again, but have the fear that I would take up cigarette smoking again, so contemplating brownies!
  21. Top half finish I would settle foe and anything better brilliant. I would love a cup final as well. Win brilliant. But just winning that semi was a great memory!
  22. I just want to add, we are in much better shape now and have moved on to the next level.
  23. I hope he lands another premier league job, as he deserves a proper crack at managing at that level. He was guiding us to safety. I think he could be good for WBA. Loved his time here as manager on our fantastic rise to the top flight. Just hope it is not a week on Sat. Great bloke!
  24. I still love FA Cup 3rd round day, but the build up to the final is never the same. Used to start on the morning of the final with the players at the hotel, follow them to Wembley..... Terrible now 17:15 kick off, before the end of the regular season. But I look toward to tomorrow and hope the dream continues. I hope for another 2003 with a better ending..... Great memories.
  25. I have a joke around with players when I referee, but over the course of a game and a season, you know the best way to handle players. As long as I do not swear that is fine. I tell them to shut up, joke with them when they say things like 'you are getting everything wrong'. Then if that player makes a mistake I will let him know about his mistake. Most of the time you give a smile and get on with it and shake hands at the end.
