Who will take our penalty?
-
Must have taken a knock, unless they are doubling up on him?
-
Not as big as the hammers half.
-
We have to win this, the game against Bristol City was a fluke, and they were in better form than Donny. Saying this Donny raise their game for the teams at the top..... Like most, but they seem to do it better.
-
But a win for us and the Reading beat or draw with West Ham, and we then beat Blackpool, I think that will be it. 13 or 10 clear depending on how West Ham game in hand goes on Tuesday. 6 left 13 clear would be all over bar the shouting.
-
And Burnley.
-
Struggling? We battered Derby!
-
Blackpool never seem to give up, and their game against reading was always going to be a goalfest.
-
It will come.

What have I missed? Just got in!

How would you like your Manager to be?
Dr Who? replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
It is more about protecting the team, I think he is doing great, and you last point sums up how most of us feel. I try not to listen to any post match interviews with any manager as it is always the same depending on win, lose or draw. If we were losing I would question it more. Used to love WGS interviews, but he took it to far at Middlesbough. -

Nigel would drive me mad if he was my manager. He would be all blue sky thinking, all text book. It works for Saints though, so long may it continue. -
Yes scrap the last bit, I am not a hippy! Chips or if I am feeling healthy, rice.

Going to nick this one!

Very sad, and with a baby and 2 other kids, this scares me the most. He will score today and go from strength to strength.
-
I look out my outgoings list and it is shocking. 2 mortgages 3 loans 5 credit cards 1 store card 3 kids. End of the month always scrapping by, but our income is over 60k a per year. Once the loans are paid off we will be minted, if we keep hold of our jobs!

I am doing a sky sports, and Saints history did not start until after I was born lol. 27 years in top flight, if we were like WBA and teams that have been up and down, we might have won more league titles. Pretty constant really.
-
I bet it was shirts off and spinning them around above the head? Still, this is why I think most saints fans have this preconception that we will not win the league. Would be great to keep hold of the top spot, just so we can sing Champions just the once!
-
I will be making my own brew and selling it on the cheap. Alcohol going underground next?
-
Of course saying this, we spent 27 years in top flight.
-
Quite a few golden oldies on here who may remember the 3rd div 59/60.

Has anyone got a memory of us winning the league? I know we were runners up when we were last promoted to top flight. We were runners up and achieved our best ever league position in 1983/84 (typo first time) Again we were runners up last season. This season we are in a great position for promotion, and have. Great chance to win the league. So runners up to spurs, Liverpool, and Brighton, now this time runners up to Reading or West Ham, or are we going to see this through? I know we won the southern league, but that was in the 50/60's?

Doncaster will be happy with a point, and will try and frustrate us.
-
It all points to a good day, and maybe even opening up a bigger gap at the top. I would prefer to be playing games against teams with nothing to play for, but all our home games are against teams battling for something, 3 at the bottom fighting for their lives, and one who would really love to put the breaks on our promotion push. The other also putting the breaks on and helping themselves at the same time. Our away games, it will only be Palace and Posh with nothing to play for, and Middlesbough may already have enough for the playoffs by them. You really can over think these things! Ha ha ha.

Feet ever so firmly on the floor.... For now! But so excited about the thought of going up!
