  1. Away to MK Dons or Stevenage would be good for me.
  2. I do think that we have done things the right way. Keep the majority of the team who did so well last season, and see how it goes up until January transfer window. Ok now it HAS gone pretty flipping well, I think we can all agree. Yes there are signs that things are not what they were between August and the end of November, but we are top, and in a much better position than what I/we thought we would be. We could have bought lots of new players in and be mid table. Look at leicester!!! We have done the right thing. We can now strengthen by buying players in the areas were we have been weak over the last month. Tighten up and hopefully get things back together. ONLY time will tell, if we have done things the right way, if we go up at the end of the season........please can we ALL be happy? I doubt it! COYR!!!
  3. Neil Ruddocks penalty at home to Newcastle, ended that run of games without a win, was it 21 game 1988/89. It was in injury time as well. 1-0!
  4. Oh god, I forgot this, it all happened so slowly, you had time to hide away somewhere..... We would have won the cup that year!
  5. Penalty shoot out Man U v Saints FA Cup at Old Trafford. West Ham away in one of the great escapes 3-3 it finished.
  6. Oh my I am good at this guessing game.... Get a grip peeps!
  7. I have not even looked at the match thread as yet, but I can take a guess that it was depressing and the normal members will be moaning and slitting there wrists. Good result and gave some fringe players a game. Was worried about a replay, as that would not have helped. You watch us get Derby next!!
  8. oh yeah better make that Man City away
  9. Pompey home, Arsenal, Man U away.
  10. Some of us are ok you know!! ;-)
  11. If we get to the premier league yes we should buy a new keeper, but also give Kelvin a new contract. He is a perfectly good keeper at this level, and we can get a couple more seasons out of him. If we go up, perhaps there is another role he could do, but would be great for him to get a game in the prem with us!
  12. Fantastic keeper for us, and ALL keepers make mistakes. We would have not got any better in the last few years. Great keeper! You have to look to your defence to help you out sometimes on rebounds. The first thing he has to do is keep the ball out the net, and as a goalkeeper coach mysekf, this is what you HAVE to do, and IF you can push the ball to one side then do, but not at the risk of a direct goal. The balls move in the air so much, you could try and push the ball yo one side, and it slight move and it is passed the hand and in the net. Keep it real, Kelvin is a great keeper and a great survent.
  13. Yes but it is because your club is such a circus, let's face it!!

I can see both points of view here. Dune is entertaining, and depressing at the same time, but he was just posting over and over again the same thing, so hevwason a wind up. I am sure Baj has got better things to do. Come on I got told off for posting top 3's, and this is hardly offensive! The way I see a forum like this, is that you should be able to post what you like, without being offensive to others, and if people think your thread is rubbish, then it is up to them not to post on it, and it drifts off never to be seen again. Pretty straight forward really. Mod's a bit like stewards get on a little bit of a power trip, but hey they have th power to do what they see best for h best interes of the board.
  17. Used to love this program at it,s height when I was growing up.... That's Blockbusters RIP Bob
  18. Did not fit the kitchen, but someone else did it this time last year. Really into DIY at the moment as I know you can save money rather than pay for labour. I know that something is likely to go wrong at some point, but you learn from it and move on. Only really go to B&Q and Wickes as they are near by, and to be fair I try and spend as little as possible or it would defeat the whole object of the exercise, to save money. Really enjoying it though.
  19. Yeah I would do but do not have a photobucket account to upload on here. I might start one up. I tell you what I thought I had done a great job, but now I have this image (which I will not be putting on photobucket) of the plaster coming tumbling down when I paint it!!
  20. Labour simply do not seem to have any direction at the moment, and this is partly down to them not having a strong enough leader. I am labour through and though, but am not happy with the direction.
  21. Not interested in the slightest by this, never have, but do like the winter Olympics.
  22. Madman, but again no harm!

  24. Today I plastered me kitchen, and it looks bloody good. Took me as long as it did to remove the tiles! Loving this project. Another £200 saved! That is £450 in total, well on my way to that family holiday!!
