Over hyped shower really, where you pay more to go anywhere and more for anything. It is just another night out and another nightreally. Tomorrow is Saturday and football day to me not new years day. 3 points is all I am thinking about. I have 2 kids so for the 9th year in a row will not be going out. Have a couple of friends (the godparents to the kids) coming round for a few cheeky drinks and a bit of guitar hero, mario kart, and other Wii games. Will be nice and will not cost me an arm and a leg!!

You never get refunded if the service that you have been offered has been carried out. If you travelled by train you would not get it back and it is the same for Saints travel club. They have to pay to get you there andd back, so why should they be out of pocket. You find this much more in cricket and only need a certain amount of overs to not see any of your admission fee again. You can get your money back on the ticket though, to cover the travel expenses. It is just one of those things, and I am sure many will travel to watch Saints. I have travelled to Newcastle and it has been called off and I went to the reschuded date.

Saturday games are always on BBC by the next day evening! So I would think you will always find Saints goals under the Southampton BBC section or the league 1 section.

Going way back in the day, but Gary Lineker was seen in Ted's Fish and Chips place a few times, but I think he went to Japan or was it the time he went from Everton to Spurs? Since this romour many footballers used to be seen in Fish in Chip places, but now seem to have moved on to other places, and managers now seem to all go to Costa Coffee!!

Cannot understand the stay away mentality really. OK I did not make so much effort to get to games when red cheeks was running our club, but you only damage the club by staying away. It is a hard situation really though. I did stand my ground in the last few months of the relegation season and not go to SMS while he was still at the helm. But now I am enjoying my football again, and still love watching the Saints as much as possible.

Always thought he was born Bristol, grew up in Bristol and went to Uni in Bristol. His parents still live in Bristol, so it seems a long way to travel to school?

Every time I go past Saints Transport on the M25 I have to say 'The Saint'. EVERY time... so sad because I go past it all the bloody time, and for home games!

Yes we had a problem tennant and it did not make it any better having a agency in place. it could have been the agency, but they really let the tennant get away with so much. Not had a problem with any of the tennant (2 of them) since dumping the agency. Now I am not losing £200 a month for an agency to do nothing, and have been able to do up the property with the extra monies that I get. New Bathroom was the latest thing last month. The whole house has had a make over in the last couple of years, which is good for the tennant and good for me as the owner of the property.

I have a feeling we COULD be in the top 2 come Saturday evening, and still in the top 2 the day I am back to work on Tuesday. Hoping for a really good January which will see us top of the league by the end of it. I have found my positive mojo again, and I am hoping Saints keep it that way!!

I rent my property out in Southampton. I used to do it through an agency, but they messed me around so much and do very little for their cut. So I piad them out of the contract and rent out my property off my own back and take the full rent amount rather than losing £200 a month to the agency. Never used a housing agency but have heard that if you get in contact with the council, they will rent out the property and you get the money month even if they do not manage to find anyone. So this is another good way of doing it. I would advise never to use an agency!!

I am loving the cricket and just savouring the whole moment! Cannot remember the last time we won the ashes over there!! I know it was 24 years ago, but I cannot remember it!!

Cannot wait for us to finish them off hopefully before lunch, so i can get off to bed and get a nights slepp in, dreaming of the next ashes, and hopefully getting to a game.

Great result, this league is so open and anyone can beat any other team. Going to be a roller coaster but hopefully we have enough in the tank to finish in the top 2 and not have to go through the playoffs!!
