If you paid £18 you were more robbed than the rest of us!

Worked perfectly in terms of ease of getting in/out Portsmouth, much smoother than the last two trips on SWT! Will still argue the toss that £12 was too much, but other than that no complaints - probably helped by the fact that after the aforementioned train hassle, I was gonna get the coach/bus anyway.

If anyone needs a train ticket - we've booked two lots of GroupSave four for our party of 7, therefore have one spare. Cost is £7.50.

Went to the last two, this is trip number three.

We're leaving as part of the first convoy, and our departure time is 11am. -
The "I'm on the bus for the skate game" roll call
Michelle replied to Spudders's topic in The Saints
Yay, someone who can't take a joke. Well done. Also, I haven't heard anything about the ticket office allowing collections on Sunday now, hence mentioning it. Something they should have allowed from the start, to be honest. At least common sense has prevailed on that one, if nothing else. -

Bus 9 - admission is only permitted if you bring something suitable to wave at the skates. Lithuanian flags, money, inflatable fish, etc. (Yes, I'm with these two, plus our other four.) Those who've mentioned picking up tickets on the day - you may want to make other arrangements, fast. As far as I know, the ticket office WILL NOT be open. I seem to recall this being mentioned in one of the articles... -
Tickets make two mentions of "bus". Not a "coach" in sight. We are all now officially "on the bus", as Nigel would put it.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking along these lines when I saw Keith Harris mentioned!!!

Guilfoyle on SSN: "It's the parent company, not the Club, in administration. Points deduction would be harsh. The Club will be fine." (words to that effect anyway)

This could be fun.

It already has, last couple of games.

lol, did you overhear our conversation at Bristol? We were talking about taking Lithuanian flags!

Jonny - hopefully you've had the V5 by now, as I've had the letter confirming the transfer. However, because they're printed so far in advance, the tax disc renewal has arrived here! As long as you've got the V5 just take it into the PO with your insurance and the MOT - it's £71.50 for 6 months, £130 for the year.

The only thing you'll see from the back row is the roof, whether your standing or sitting.

You're very welcome mate - loving my new one too, which was only possible for me to get by selling the old one. Everyone's a winner. :-)

And on that note, battery glitch confirmed by Apple. Should be an iOS update in a few weeks to sort it. Goody good. :-)

I was about to say, I wonder how many Minty has in his extensive library!!!

I've gone from 3GS to 4S, and been charging every day up until last weekend, though as with you I've been using it a lot more sussing things out. Switched off a load of stuff in NC and sending those Diagnostics/Usage reports, and only left essential Location Services, seems to have settled down a bit. Went in to Apple Friday night to swap from Black to White, mentioned the battery life and they basically said that although it is a better battery than the 4, and certainly the 3GS, the better spec processor and new functions means it pretty much levels out with the 4, but should still be better than the 3GS, which mine wasn't at all. Currently charging every other day now, so it's slowly getting there.

Ess, appreciate you've only had it a couple of days, but how's yours doing on battery life?

I'm busy Monday night, but can make hubby available to to the deal. Brigh****er is close to us, yup. :-) I'll e-mail you in a mo.

Sorry Mr H, been a mad couple of days. Will ye be at the game on Tuesday night? Could also be about tomorrow, or hubby tends to be local a couple of days a week. Lemme know what's best for ya.

Hey mate, sorry, only just seen this! Only thing I need to let you know (shoulda mentioned in the post really!) it's not unlocked - it's locked to Orange, they've said they'll do it for £20. Lemme know if you still want it.

Just got me hands on a 4S, so needing to dispose of the old phone. Upgraded to iOS5, has a small scratch on the screen but otherwise good condition and works perfectly. Will be going on eBay or cash back if not sold by the weekend, looking for £150.
