Perhaps some analysis of those 14 "Wigley games" is in order, many at home, and most against teams we'd normally expect to beat. Or would that reality slip the handbrake off your (rose tinted windowed?) Rupertmobile...?

Another convenient re-writing of history to protect Lowe from any criticism. Are you his Chief of Staff or something? You're right, Redknapp did have (some) of the transfer window, but wasn't given any money to spend in it - so we had to rely on the one small purchase (Fuller) and some loan signings. I actually thought that Redknapp Jnr did a reasonable job when he was fit (not often, admittedly) and don't forget Camara scored some crucial goals. We also of course had Crouch sitting in the reserves until HR came along. It was Harry's pivotal use of him that at least started us playing to whatever limited strenghts we had. I always find the scapegoating of Redknapp interesting - it's very convenient for Lowe (and his diehard followers like your good self), and his departure back 'down the road' blinds people to a objective analysis of his tenure. Yes, he failed, yes he had bad luck, but he also had his hands tied financially (when he's allowed to "wheel and deal" the results are there for all to see), and had a Chairman who didn't believe in him. Redknapp will carry the can for many, especially those desperately trying to absolve Lowe of all accountability, but the uphill task he inherited from Wigley, and the confines within which he was required to work (financially and structurally), never really gave him or us the chance needed...

Hit the nail on the head. So you'd agree with me then, that Lowe's most abominable mistake was to appoint Wigley, having failed to learn his lesson with Gray. You could also extend that point to Wotte, but at least we can console ourselves with the fact that this will be his 'third strike', as he finally finishes the club off...
-
With the club in crisis, what else do you expect us to be discussing on a fans formum FFS?? Do you have something massively more important you'd like to suggest, perhaps how wide the stripes on our home kit next year should be? Jeez...
-
I think I can pretty safely say a Stern John brace won't save us this year... You're comparing apples with bananas... different board, different manager, different team (all inferior to last season), different, sorry, NO, spirit. We haven't got a cat in hell's chance under Lowe/Wilde/Wotte. We're ****ed.
-
Because they realise that decisive action is needed (not just another shuffling of the deckchairs) to turn what's left of the season around.
-
So all just sit back and watch us slip quietly away? Great plan... jeez...

Demonstration for Swansea game- Time and place!!

Doesn't make any difference. Did Tony Blair need to be physically watching the anti-war rallies to know they took place? Lowe, and the board, regardless of where they are hiding on Saturday will know the strength of feeling of the fans. -

Dear oh dear Rupert, you really are scraping the barrel this time. You used to pay top dollar to your PR company to post "pro Lowe" messages... who the **** are you using now? It may pass for humour on the school hockey playing fields, but you're mixing with the big boys now dear chap... Must do better! -
I think you'll find our collective criticism (not grudge note, criticism) is based upon his overall record as steward of the club, and the frankly calamatous decisions that he continues to make on managerial appointments. That he's an arrogant, ignorant, stubborn arse does him no favours at all, but please do interprete reasoned criticism of those accountable to their customers/shareholders as simply "a grudge", it's just not true. Toodle pip!

Well let's hope we do - and Norwich. Protesting about the abject performance of the board, is NOT the same as not supporting the team. For the future of the club, it's imperative we stay up - but Lowe and his boards continual mismanagment / bizarre experiments make that a slim hope indeed. THAT is what we are protesting about. -

50+ years old, yet still using playground arguments... hilarious. -
Curbishly is much too savvy to want to work for Lowe. That said, we're unlikely to get another new manager until we see the back of the ruddy one. My choice would still be Dowie. I just have a feeling that his destiny is to manage us one day, and resurrect his career and our fortunes. Of course we have to suffer the Dutch experiment and League 1 before any upturn of fortune...

OS Confirmed Michael Svennson - New Assistant Coach
SW11_Saint replied to steadyeddie's topic in The Saints
A desperate attempt to appease the fans. It won't work you f*ckwits - WE WANT YOU OUT! Do you think the OS will always put "fomer Feyenoord Technical Director" in every article about Wotte? (ps I am however happy that Killer has a role at the club, but I suspect this means his playing career is over). -
Of course it will, they've just appointed they bloke who helped mastermind our plummet down the table!

Excuse me? When exactly did the fans let him down? What other fans do you think would have the patience to wait 14 home games (13 of them winless) before voicing their frustration??? Get real.
-
As my Mrs has just said, Lowe runs SFC like some cult (the Scientologists and the ilk) - where he/they think they can manipulate information, feed us b/s and expect us all to follow them blindly, just because of our love for Saints. Well, F**K IT - I DO love Saints, and that is exactly why from now on I am going to move heaven and earth to make the rest of this season as uncomfortable for Lowe, Wilde and the rest of the pathetic bunch of spineless retards who are "running" this fantastic club (into the ground). In the Words of Chris Morris on The Day Today - IT'S WAR!!!
-
Only one thing for it - step up the pressure on Lowe, step up the pressure on Wotte (in turn to get to Lowe). I am resigned to us going down, but f*ck it - I just want LOWE OUT now, at any cost. Will cannot move forward until we remove this **** from our club...
-
I guess it'd be rude to remind that we had a 'proper' manager before Lowe appointed JP...
-
"Mark Wotte has been asked by the board to take over as Head Coach, and he will now take charge of the team for Tuesday's trip to Norwich". Okay, clutching at staws now, but the language is rather ambiguous... you can interprete it either way - he's permanent, or he's just head coach for Norwich. Could our board actually be waiting for the fan reaction to gauge whether they should make him permanent or not?? Nah, thought not...
-
Erm, Dowie?
-
It's not true. Erm, but it is...
-
Rather "be careful not to have a cupid stunt for a Chairman who NEVER learns"...
-
Let me be the first: Wotte Out!!!
