  1. His younger brother didn’t look too bad tonight!
  2. Yes, that’s what I heard too - a set to with one of their own fans. Par for the course…
  3. More of the same please…
  4. Decent enough draw, great away day.
  5. Classic late ‘3rd man run’ from Armstrong to slot in? One of my favourite memories, loved DA. Remember a similar late finish v Sunderland too.
  6. I stand corrected. Good to know, cheers. I know it wasn’t as fast as these but how long was Steve Moran on when he scored on his debut?
  7. Very enlightening. And it’s clear to see that is the approach Rasmus would have pitched to Solak.
  8. Rolling additional year?
  9. Graham Baker was an excellent player. LocaL lad, and like Channon, left for a hiatus at Man City and came back. We were discussing him the other day (prompted by Larin’s swift debut goal), as we believe he scored the fastest ever debut goal - 58 seconds, v Blackpool at The Dell, 1977.
  10. We feel his pain!
  11. As TSP discussed the other week… none of our players are signing contract renewals atm. Another radiation of SR’s disastrous tenure.
  12. Schadenfreude is a terrible/wonderful thing. To save time you can speed through to: 0.44 - 3-0 1.56 - 3-2 2.01 - 3-3 2.10 - 3-4
  13. I said last night that Tonda deserved zero credit. I’ll temper that a little, but still think he made critical errors, starting Archer, then not making changes earlier when we could all see how things were going wrong. At least he made them at h/t - not that there was any choice. Two other things about him concerned me tonight. Saying (in post-match interview) that “the medical man told me he [Stewart] could I only do 25 mins” and (on the turn around) “the boys decided to go for it”. That does not sound like a man who is in charge of the dressing room, it sounds again like player power (at least positively this time - but shouldn’t it be HIM telling them to go for it?). I have no doubt Stewart couldn’t last a whole match, but he can - and did - play more than 25 mins, so why not start him? And if you don’t want to start him, why not start Larin - continuity from the Watford game - and bring Stewart on later?
  14. Credit to Manning to be fair, not just his goal but he kept the ball in play for Jack’s goal too. Funny to see Manning, THB & Jack all up there fir that goal…

  16. …and let’s not forget the lovely layoff by Stewart. He brings so much to our play🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
  17. Jander, Archer, Fellows all need to come off at h/t.
  18. We tried to get rid of Archer last week… now he’s first choice striker?!? WTF is going on?
  19. Suspect he did want away, but clearly didn’t get offers that match the money he is on here. This is his last chance to put himself in the shop window, so he has some self motivation. We benefit from that too, so not a problem. Clearly no problem with the other players, but didn’t expect there to be - they have to look after their own interests, so it’s all in the game…
  20. No, they are both professional footballers.
  21. And being Canadian, even if we were on ice he’d probably be fine anyway! 🇨🇦
  22. Somewhat fortunate, but a win’s a win. Perfect goalscorer too. Seems to have nous, character & physicality which is what we need (and Downs lacked, among other things). Hopefully we can push on from here.
  23. Edozie on the bench 👀
  24. “We have given the stiffest possible punishment - a six point deduction and Joe Aribo for the rest of the season”.
  25. Awesome dog. She’s a beauty.
