Playing against Erickson in midfield, I’m expecting us to play right through them. They’ve got a guy who died up against a very mobile midfield that we are playing.

We already know that Smallbone, Stevens, Arma, Aribo are nowhere near the level needed for Prem survival. Janny B is a bottom 6 level player, KWP a bottom half player. Jury very much out on Diaz being anything more than a championship player. Downes, Suga, THB we just dont know yet if they have the quality for a team looking to survive in the Prem. The only one to start today that is a proven Prem standard player is Ramsdale.

I like Che personally, he’s a good player on the ball, holds it up well and very adept at switching the player to facilitate a quick transition to attacking phases. he’s just not a big goal scorer and simpletons think the only metric to qualify an attacking player against is the goals column. But even looking at that metric he’s ahead of his xG with 0.5 goals per 90 vs an xG per 90 of 0.3.

Yup, said it before. Being a competitive team in the championship is a far better season for a fan than being completely out of depth in premier league. When going to matches feels like a chore what’s the point.

Needs a 4th manager of the season before the close of the day tomorrow. Must be someone out there that knows to get out of the relegation zone you need to win games, and to do that you need to score goals, and to do that sideways passes across the back four for 45mins is an utter waste of time.

This season Sheff United beat Spurs, Grimsby beat us, Blackburn beat Leicester, Sunderland drew with Fulham. Doesn’t make any of them premier league standard though. I mean we’ve even beaten Man City, so we must be good enough to win the division.

I really don’t get the delusional hype over this guy being some sort of proven epic goal scorer. The Belgium league standard is at best Championship level, but out side the top 3/4 clubs it’s more league 1. He’s absolutely no history of being a proven goal scorer at anything like Premier League level. Put Che or Armstrong Into Belgium and they would look like outstanding goal scorers
